Everything about our stay was excellent. The hotel was exceptionally quiet, which made it a very relaxing place to stay. The staff were genuinely attentive, professional, and kind, without ever being intrusive.
We were especially touched by the thoughtful complimentary gift the hotel sent to our room to celebrate our son’s university graduation. It was a wonderful surprise and made our stay even more memorable.
We also had an incident where I accidentally left a bag with important belongings outside the hotel while waiting for our airport transfer. The staff noticed it immediately, contacted us by email without delay, and kept it safe until we were able to return and collect it. We truly appreciated their quick communication and care.
The only small disappointment was the view from our window. Although we had booked a room in a higher category, the view was not what we had expected. Other than that, everything was outstanding, and we would be happy to stay here again.
Thank you very much!
My new favourite hotel in London. I am absolutely in love with this place. The staff are truly incredible, I’ve never received such outstanding service. Wish I could stay here every weekend!!
We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite which was lovely!
Great location and a really pleasant hotel. service was exceptional throughout, professional and slick without being stuffy, the perfect balance IMHO.
Breakfast was a la carte and really good.
A stroll around the private gardens was fun in the flurry of snow that we had, warmed up on our return with hot chocolate in the lounge/bar.
Lovely service and a very professional team. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made my stay extremely comfortable. The hotel is a bit expensive, but the level of hospitality and care made it a very enjoyable experience.
Room was stunning
Reception staff and concierge were friendly and professional
Terrible 2nd rate service in the dining area.
Food average no above and beyond service.
No engagement from the waiting staff.
Would not eat here again
If you want to be at a "see and be seen" spot with supercars loudly entering the valet and guests sporting flashy logos galore, then this is not your choice. If you want quiet luxury in a carefully updated historic building with personal attention by each staff member, then book the Cadogan.
My family and I had two wonderful stays here bookending a safari in Kenya. The hotel was kind enough to store our non-safari luggage in between. Upon our return, we were welcomed as if they had been waiting on a family member to return.
The property is beautiful and the interior has been tastefully updated. The Cadogan is a boutique-size property, but with all the amenities and service that one would expect from a larger five-star hotel. The rooms have all modern conveniences and housekeeping was excellent. We were in two adjoining Junior Suites and were pleased by the roominess, especially of the bathrooms.
Each staff member was professional, kind and helpful. Nearly all of them greeted us by name. The concierge team were especially helpful in arranging airport transfers and a few guided tours.
The location on the border of Chelsea/Belgravia/Knightsbridge was perfect for us. It's a quiet, neighborhood feel in the immediate surroundings, but just a short walk to excellent shopping and restaurants.
Book the Cadogan with confidence!
We enjoy the small things which is why we always stay at the best boutique hotels. The Belmond Cadogan in Chelsea is at the top of our worldwide list. The concierge team is world class, hard working, welcoming, always make you feel special and unique. They'll do pretty much anything to improve your stay. The restaurant serves the best breakfast, The room is always clean. The bed and pillows are the best. The bar and bartenders at the end of a long day are welcoming and service oriented. It's in the best part of London. Close to tourist locations but mostly it's in the best neighbourhood in London.
Amazing staff m, rooms were of such a high standard
Nothing
What an amazing recovery we visited the new drawing room at the Cadogan Hotel home to some of the best cocktails in London. My wife and I have recently found a new favourite place so we decided for her birthday to take the now grown up family for cocktails to celebrate . We obviously hit the wrong moment and the barman was run off his feet. On these occasions i try to be patient but in the end a word with the manager was needed. He in person came to say how sorry for the delay he was. He himself joined the team and set to work as well as drafting extra help. Second round of cocktails were on the house then two plates of oysters arrived and the most delicious sausage rolls and then even a mini birthday cake. Wow and thank you for making it a great evening We will be back. We have Tryied Willetts. Fab and as a local some of the best food in Chelsea.
The concierge staff could not have been more helpful with information about London, booking restaurants and assistance arriving and leaving the hotel.
Absolutely outstanding service from Daniel, concierge extraordinaire.
Nothing about the Cadogan is to not like!
The team took every opportunity to get to know you, it was never transactional. The attention to detail in the hotel was second to none. If you are looking for a quality stay, in a wonderful location, with history, shops and gardens, all within walking distance, you wont be disappointed
We sadly only had one night at The Cadogan, but it felt like we had been there many times before! The rooms, food, and all areas of the hotel were 5 star quality, and even better than one could expect. But the standout feature for me was the genuine friendliness of the staff. Jamie, in particular, felt like we had been friends for years, but every staff member made you feel like family. If we ever get the chance to visit London again, we would definitely return here.
We were especially impressed by the room's timeless elegance, where modern sophistication meets traditional charm. The décor is thoughtfully curated, with exquisite attention to detail evident throughout both the room and the restaurant. Equally remarkable is the warmth and unwavering attentiveness of the staff, whose dedication enhances every aspect of the guest experience.
My wife Chloé and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Cadogan, and it was truly one of those rare hotel experiences that stays with you long after you’ve checked out.
What makes this place so special is not only the beauty of the property and its perfect location in Chelsea, but above all the people. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely warmly welcome. The service was attentive without ever feeling formal or forced, and there was a warmth throughout the hotel that is increasingly difficult to find.
A special thank you to Russell Pratt. It is immediately apparent that he leads by example and that the culture of the hotel starts with him. We were fortunate enough to meet him during our stay, and his kindness, professionalism and genuine care for guests perfectly reflect the spirit of The Cadogan.
Luxury hotels can offer beautiful rooms, fine dining and elegant surroundings. What distinguishes the truly great ones is how they make you feel. My wife and I felt at home from the moment we arrived.
Thank you to Russell and the entire team for making our stay such a memorable one. We are already looking forward to returning !!
Elegant, calm and just beautiful
