This is a good hotel however it is a little old. IIn our area of the building we did not get hot water but weather is clement
we had a large deleuxe room with plenty of sitting areas small kitchen and large fridge
personnel is nice and helpful
walking on the beach is excellent
swimming pool agreeable and has bar i
施設が古く、所々使いにくい
反面ビーチサイドの立地は最高で、海から上ったあと、外のプールやシャワーは使いやすい。
従業員もみんな親切
Hotel with amazing view in the western of Java island, you can see sunset clearly.
It was a good stay but the hotel requires updating
Despite its incomplete facilities, we had a great time in Marbella.
We did overnight stay in executive suite with a marvelous view of pool and sea.
In my opinion, it would be nice if this vintage mexican-style hotel is re-managed after all the hospitality business has been recovering from the pandemic.
As for the food, Marbella has provided exqusite chicken pouridge and nice fried banana.
I think I made one of the biggest mistake while selecting this resort for my family stay.
Until now, this is my worst experience of staying in any resort in Indonesia.
Hotel is quite big, but they have not maintained it for guests. The big spider webs and big spiders which we see in movies are actually available in this hotel. They have lack of staff, those who are working there are not able to manage this much size of hotel. Only one lift was operational to manage 200 rooms from 2nd to 9th floor. The room amenities was pathetic. We ourself changed the bedsheet and it was a disaster to use the dirty bedsheets. AC was not working. I think we wasted our money here and because we actually tried to move to some other hotel but we didn’t got rooms available.
I strongly request hotel management to look into this otherwise they will lose customers.
Stay for a one night family trip. Booked two rooms. The suite room is OK except for the non-flushing toilet. Don't expect to get the same room like the one in the photographs in the hotel website. The other room was creepy, it smelled like it has not been used for a long time. When I turned on the shower, the water smelled like sewer water. In the morning the same thing happened, and when we turned on the bath tub faucet, the smell was even worse, and the water was black like dirt water. (see photo)
Walking through the guest room wing hallway, the whole place was dark and smelled mouldy, like the place never seen daylight for ages.
The beach was OK, and probably it was the only redeeming quality of the hotel.
Positive; within a stone's throw, sandy beaches compared to other anyer beach, many street food along the beach at weekend, nice panoramic view from balcony, ample parking, many sports , wide room, and room was equipped with cooking utensils, nice food. Minus; less maintenance of the building, 2 elevator was inactive.
I pay more than 10 millions for 2 nights stay
I choose family package there is 3 room inside
But the bathroom is not good at all
The bath tub crack and the toilet also broken
Old smells and very Creepy.
The pillow case also dirty thanks God i bring my own pillow ( look the picture )
Look the face towel unsubscribe
The air conditioning not working
The receptionist very badmouthing when we ask for changing room the said : there's only the 3 room we have if you want use it but if not we change with 1 room near parking lot.
The receptionist was man with 170cm tall, the behaviour bellboy better than the manager. They shouting to us when we asked for change the room.
We are really not recommendation this hotel.
Lets be honest this is an old hotel just like any other hotel around anyer.
But its really great for children.
We really have such a good time staying in marbella.
Its a front beach hotel, with lots of watersport activities like atv, jetski, banana boat, speed boat, parasailing or a surf board.
The swimming pool is The star of this hotel. Its huge, your children will love it.
We booked 2 room, studio and deluxe. I recommend you to stay in the deluxe room, cause its very spacious with separated bed room, seating area, dining table, pantry and it got 2 balconies with nice swimming pool and beach view.
You have to be patient cause the elevator floor is always wet, because the guest go back and forth from the beach or swimming pool to their room.
Breakfast is a minimalist, but there's a lot of seafood restaurant around anyer.
I have stayed during weekend and weekdays.
During the weekdays it's barely people there. The hotel has many rooms and not enough people staying there so it's kinda creepy.
On the weekend though like Friday and Saturday. There are more people and the hotel feels more alive!
Both times i stayed the pool was clean. Breakfast still the same, same taste as well. I guess the chef is very consistant of the taste.
On weekday not many people offering activities at the beach. On weekend u can see people banana boating and stuff.
First time I stayed was on weekday, the room was okay, bed was horrible and worn out. Pillow is great for someone who love flat pillow like me. My room was on the same tower as the lobby.
My second stay was on the other tower on a friday, it was horrible. Water was all dirty and discolored and no hot water. I wanted to shower at 1.30 am because I arrived late and it is crazy if they expect me to shower with dirty water and no hot water. The bathroom was all cracked and moldy. The room was definitely not well maintained i think the whole tower was not well maintained. Then they move me to the tower I had stayed in previously and had so much better room with running hot water and super clean facing the pool and ocean. The room is well maintained. No cracks no molds no chipping paint.
The bathroom has bathtubs by the way.
Please just ask them to put you on same building with the lobby.
Huge rooms overlooking the beautiful bay, a lovely pool reflectiing the tall palm trees of the beach garden. It was the perfect way to start my Java coast-to-coast trip.
This used to be an amazing 4 star hotel ten years ago, and now it is a bit run down with the furniture sometimes worn-out and certain parts of this massive hotel in need of more than a fresh coat of paint.
But works are in progress and because of that rates are pretty sweet and the service remains very good. Good value for money.
The Marbella
Fast as rust,
the humid decay,
smoldering in defeat,
beneath my bare feet,
the fusty smell,
rising in the heat,
blurring the streets,
down hallways and corridors,
the mildew reeks,
the fire and sun,
heat beats the rhythm,
solar flare warm in the sea.
Crescively swollen wood halls,
stale buildings crumbling,
house to posts, wires crawl,
geckos white on tiles froze,
stairwells, browned and bronze,
red burrs clinging to the rails,
loyal comers wise to the details,
finding a new freedom,
only you can believe in,
secrets rumor the tales.
Beach tones, mopeds roam,
burrowed hideaways,
outline the local drape,
spoken faith twice a day,
chanting therapeutic,
in the jungle acoustic,
the day makes the way at island pace,
finished in silhouettes,
blues, yellows, oranges and reds.
Antique tarnished painted pink,
Roots, beliefs, colors batik unique,
vintage old paintings screaming,
from the walls to your mind teeming,
the mistress of the dinette,
laughing and smiling,
composed of few words,
simple, rehearsed, beguiling.
The spirit of the ocean,
living in our dreams,
between here and there,
amid them and me,
spread evenly,
sharing everything
in waves the brightness reflecting.
Far way home beyond dreaming skies,
in deep volcanic rock seas,
living in the future, parallel reality,
rejoining the water front scene
We were in the 8th floor, the place was terrible all over, the water in the toilet stinks you can't rinse, the air conditioner deads and just blowing hot air and so noisy. The furniture are old and has broken pieces here and there.
Went to the pool, and the pool was so gross, i have to walk tippy toes, it was so filthy. Algae grew inside the pool everywhere, the tiles has came off in so many places...
I called the front desk and was promised that the manager on duty will call, but ne br er happened.
This place is really bad. Please take your business somewhere else.
We were on 6th floor. We can't shower & flush the toilet. The water flow very weak. Telephone room was not working. I have to walk and complaint twice to Receptions (Mr. Supriyatna) and promised will send technician to check. But until we checked out, no body come to check. That was nightmare holiday without water.
I have a room with the broken TV channel, dead Air Conditioner, black water shower and broken toilet. There is no standard in service room, but the food is fine. I was reserved for 2 weeks before, check in at 1 pm, but just get the room at 4 pm. What a worse holiday. I won't booked this hotel again
- Need more than 1 hour just to check in, so many people lining to check in and mix with people that complain about hotel facilities
- First came to hotel public toilet, there was no water and lot of toilets still unflushed with lot of crap in it.
- We took 2 room
1st Room : Broken remote AC, Hot water didn't work, Just 1 Towel available, one of bathroom lamp broke and i had to fought with 3 cockroaches (succeed kill 2 of them, 1 escapes)
2nd Room : welcomed by death cockroach in living room and water supply was broke and shower did not work. in the end we did not use this room.
- Lift did not function properly, dirty and lack of maintenance
- Hard to find hotel employee if we need some helps.
Conclusion : It suppose to be 5 star classic hotel with awesome sight but it become "nightmare" hotel because of lack of maintenance and bad management.
Fantastic meeting by the beach. Fantastic marbella seafood . Very reasonable meeting package , and plenty activities at the beach, banana boat, parasailling, 4 wheelers motor bike , jetski. And karaoke at night or dancing at sahara lounge. And yet its only 2 hours from jakarta. Cheaper than going to bali. We absolutely will comeback again.
We were going to Marbella Hotel in Anyer but were met with some disgust. Although its close to the beach and have a nice view, our family room was very outdated. When I say outdated I meant the 1900s outdated. The room itself looked like an antique shop.
The floor was dusty and it looked like it haven't got clean in years. None of the furnitures seemed to have been renovated nor replaced by new ones. Some of the shelves and closets had a broken handle, and if you didn't close it perfectly, it would creak open like you're being haunted. The bathroom were plain and outdated, also one of the sink was broken and clogged. The sink in the kitchen even gave a very weird metallic smell. The electric stoves were rusted and oily. The beds were creaky and uncleaned. There were lots of stains, some looked like it came from drinks or coffee due to its color and some even looked like it was semen. It made it sleep in an extra bed my family had brought. Then there was the music that made it worst. It kept playing outside nonstop and very loud, made it difficult to sleep. Although the services are nice, I would never wanted to sleep in this hotel ever again.
If you want to have lifetime experience, there is beautiful volcano active right now in Indonesia, take plane to Jakarta, from Marbella Anyer they will arrange a car for you from the airport and then they will organize a boat trip to Krakatau or google Hendi Krakotoa guide. You can sleep in tent on the beach with volcano view and make sure you will stay close to the volcano by sunset to have the most amazing pictures! :-)
