Location. Staff. Rooms
Shower is a bit outdated Too short for me
Fantastic location, excellent breakfast, superb staff
The air conditioning unit in my room was a bit clunky and the bathroom small. The cost for the car park is hidden in the policies.
The location was beautiful. Breakfast was great. Pool, parking.... great location for the theatre
Nothing to dislike
Good food, excellent view, friendly welcome
Room safe didn’t work, desk lamp didn’t work.
The Penthouse breakfast suite had a stunning view over Plymouth Hoe and the seascape.
The staff made sure everyone was seated to be able to take advantage of the view.
The buffet breakfast was good with a varied menu suitable for all tastes.
A modest drawback for those seated nearest the entrance was the long walk to and from the buffet table but the compensation was that they had the best view.
Access& entrance to the stairs from the lifts on every floor other than ground was not obvious. A bit more signage would be helpful. It would help with evacuation should a drill or even an emergency take place.
Value for money & great choice also, Staff were quite helpful. Enjoyed the Marco Pierre white restaurant.
Probably look at coming again later in the year when weather better
Easy accessible to the town centre. Local pubs and shops.
The staff were very nice. Loved Marco Pier for dinner and our waitress Keira was very attentive. Only one letdown for the birthday boy, no Dark Rum!
Free upgrade and lovely card and fudge for the Birthday Boy. Thank you x
Loved it all.
The view is incredible from the sea view room The lounge access gives you the opportunity to relax with the sea view and take hot drinks and a cookie during the day and from 17 30 to 19 30 alcoholic drinks and light bites e.g. cheese and biscuits, sausage rolls, samosa. Harrison was wonderful in the lounge access and spent time asking my son and I if our stay was ok. He let us know about his surfing activities and his dreams.
The gym and swimming helps shed some of the calories from the excellent hot and continental breakfast and the Marco Pierre White restaurant.
The staff are always welcoming and there's 25% off for being a member.
The hotel also commits to a greener outlook and supports the environment.
Rooms were quiet and beds were large and comfortable
Reception staff were very polite and helpful
Location of hotel ideal for the Hoe, shopping and walks
Too many children occupying the pool , so unable to relax.
Bar prices were eye watering high
Breakfast was £19 per person so on this stay we avoided all breakfasts
Bathroom was very small and in need of an upgrade
Very close to the town and near to the sea absolutely perfect
Good room, food up PH average ,very average
Fish and chips overcooked , meat was ok but presentation was poor imho
The position
The hotel was in a perfect location
