Hotel Bernat II

Great customer service !

They advertise they have AC. Technically correct but AC is throttled to the point where you effectively don't have AC in your room. Unable to sleep with the heat we had.

The total is at proximity walking distance to the beach. The total is outdated, very small rooms, area around isn’t the best and noisy. The pool is very small, not as advertised. The full board is very limited of choices. The rooms service staff and Montse up front are very nice.

This was our second stay at Hotel Bernatt 11. It is a lovely hotel that is close to the beach and a short walk to Calella town.

It is always clean and tidy and the staff show pride in their work.

Food was lovely as always.

The pool has been updated this past year - looks really nice with the additional paddling space for little children. The materials used in the revamp are coming away, so it seems that it will need to be redone again soon.

Receptionist Montse was a diamond when checking in, she also rescued me from the balcony when I managed to lock myself out. She is very kind and helpful, always smiling.

Unfortunately the wifi did not work in the room due to power outages (city wide! Not hotels fault) and the wifi range extender was broken on second floor.

The night receptionist mocked/questioned me slightly for asking for an extra blanket.

The pool area has been renovated and does not reflect in the pictures, I would argue the layout has improved however the grout and paint is chipping loose and floating in the pool water.

Breakfast was lovely. Had two great nights sleep, amenities in the room worked well.

Wonderful. Judith the masseur was wonderful and dignified, Christian the bar man very friendly. Reception staff so helpful. No complaints whatsoever et we had a wonderful time.

Hotel is old, need renovation for sure, it doesn't like 4 stars Hotel.

Great location a short walk from the beach, fabulous friendly and accommodating staff, lovely food, fun pool. A beautiful little stay :-)

Un double vitrage serai souhaitable. les couloirs en parquet ne sont pas forcement silencieux non plus. Les balcons sont vraiment collés et quand on se penche un peu on voit tout ce qui se passe chez le voisin. Voila pour le négatif qui est important pour les avis.
Sinon l'hotel est sympathique et asssez bien situé.

So close to the beach and facilities are great. Food is lovely, staff are friendly and room was very clean and comfortable.

Really good selection of food each day at the buffets.

Only thing, the childrens entertainment (mini disco) started a little later than we had anticipated (21.30). However the ladies who ran the mini club from 17.30 were amazing, super friendly and my daughter (4yrs) loved them.

I would highly recommend this hotel, as it was perfecf for our first time abroad with our little one.

The beach was about 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the town centre about a 10 minute walk. Good location

We had a fantastic stay at the Bernat - the food was fresh and a good variety, the whole hotel was spotless, the pool was great and the location was excellent, near to both the beach and town!

We had an amazing holiday, the staff is friendly, nice food, we would definitely come back ,there is just few areas that may need some improvement like renovations as our room had few broken tiles .
