Very close to the hotel there is a good restaurant, Le Palais de Montbeliard.
Pros:

Breakfast was moderate, OK, no tea. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, easy access to the hotel.

Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut, die Betten sind ok und das Dreibett-Zimmer angenehm groß.

Cons:

Leider hat man für drei Personen nur einen winzigen Schrank mit zwei Fächern. Zum Glück sind wir nur auf der Durchreise gewesen und mussten unsere Taschen kaum auspacken. Es wäre aber auch nicht möglich gewesen, wenn wir es gemusst hätten.
Mit offenem Fenster konnte man leider nicht schlafen, was im Hochsommer notwendig gewesen wäre, da unser Zimmer zur Schnellstraße hinaus ging.

An Modernisierung denken bei dem Preis
Pros:

Ich habe mich für das Hotel entschieden, da es nah an der Autobahn liegt, das aber die Hauptstraße vor dem Hotel gefühlt durchs Hotel führt, habe ich nicht beachtet. Schlafen nicht möglich, wegen des Verkehrslärms! Dazu ist das Hotel mittlerweile in den Stiele des Gelsenkirchener Barock verkommen.

Zimmer zur Hauptstraße raus, sehr laut mit geschlossenen Fenstern wars ok, aber warm und da der vorhandene Ventilator nicht unbedingt leiser war...nun ja!

Alles war sehr gut! Die Zimmer waren gemütlich, die Betten bequem und das Frühstück ausgezeichnet – es hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Ein wirklich angenehmer Aufenthalt!
