My experience at this hotel was completely unacceptable and far below any reasonable standard.
First and foremost, the most serious issue: despite requesting a proper invoice with VAT details at the time of booking (through Booking.com) and repeatedly following up, I never received the correct invoice. This is a basic requirement, especially for business travel, and the hotel completely failed to provide it. The lack of response and the inability to resolve such a simple and essential request is inexcusable. It shows a complete disregard for guests and a total lack of professionalism.
The customer service was, overall, extremely poor. Communication was slow, unhelpful, and at times simply ignored. It felt like no one was taking responsibility, and resolving issues seemed to be the lowest priority.
Regarding the room conditions, they were equally unacceptable. The ceiling had visible humidity damage and even a hole, which is completely inappropriate for a paying guest. This raises serious concerns about maintenance and hygiene standards.
In addition, the windows provided no sound insulation whatsoever. Every noise from the street could be clearly heard throughout the night, making it very difficult to rest. For a hotel, ensuring basic comfort and the ability to sleep is essential — and this place clearly fails in that regard.
In summary, this hotel demonstrates:
Poor and unprofessional customer service
Failure to provide required documentation (invoice with VAT)
Very low maintenance standards (humidity and structural issues in the room)
Lack of basic comfort due to noise insulation issues
I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel, especially if you require proper documentation or expect even a minimum level of quality and service.
The staff were lovely
It was very dirty. I was given an alternative room and the staff were very helpful but I just court get past the cleaning issues.
Location close to the railway station.
Very poor soundproofing against street noise.
Spring mattress that was no longer firm.
An excessive number of messages received, many of them contradictory, via email and WhatsApp since the time of booking.
Inability to generate an invoice with the correct information, despite having previously requested and provided the billing details.
Hatte zum Glück Hilfe beim checkin. Hätte es alleine wohl nicht geschafft Hotel ist gegenüber HBF und hat eigenen Parkplatz.

Die Zimmer sind sehr heruntergekommen. Die Decken im Raum waren dreckig und mussten ausgetauscht werden. Die Matratze waren schwer gebraucht und verdreckt. Man hat die Leute im Nachbarzimmer schnarchen hören können.
