I was rebooked in another hotel which was about 30min away from our conference venue, so for me it was extremely inconvenient, I had to take alwas an uber car etc.

Cons:

in my new hotel, the saclay novotel, the staff was extremely nice but the room was a catrastrophe, the heating was broken, so it got really cold during the night an no additional blanket, on the next morning the very nice concierce gave ma additional heater

Novotel cherche tellement à faire des économies sur notre dos que la prestation est tombée au plus bas.

Travaux en cours partout, accès aux chambres difficile, pièce d’accueil / réception digne d’une salle des fêtes de quartier et chantier omniprésent. Pourquoi rester ouvert pendant les travaux ? Ou alors il faut offrir une réduction…
Pas de bouteille d’eau dans la chambre : économie ?
Pas de savonnette, mais juste des bouteilles plastiques de produits posées en vrac dans la salle de bain : économie ?
Matelas très inconfortable, trop mou : je me suis réveillé avec un mal de dos inhabituel pour moi.
Accès wifi coupé en permanence et incitations à souscrire à un accès wifi payant.
Service du restaurant insuffisant ; beaucoup d’attente et le personnel se débarrasse de vous avec fermeté.
Cadre aux alentours : du parking, des travaux, des barrières partout.
