Pros:

Un bon petit déjeuner, une chambre bien décorée et propre. Un aperçu sur la mer. Peignoir impeccable . Climatisation qui fonctionne. Hôtel calme .

Cons:

Le bassin est un peu vieillissant. Tâche de rouille sur le carrelage , velum également taché. Le fléchage pour l accès à la piscine extérieure est à revoir.

Disappointing hotel, but saved by the good weather
Pros:

The outdoor pool, but very small. Breakfast was good. Coastal location but rubbish beach. Loved the cold water supplied all around the hotel, especially in the heatwave taking place. Went to Grande Cote Royan and Les Sables d’Olomnes for brilliant beaches.

Cons:

The room facilities were poor…no fridge or kettle, no proper wardrobe. Only old bushel box for bedside table and 3 shelves for clothes. Only one chair and one glass for a double room! Very cramped toilet space. There was a faff insisting all guests had thick dressing gowns and flipflops to wear over swimwear around the property and pool. Not very ecological/green for a hotel which talked about saving the planet a lot. It as also inappropriate wear in a heat wave. Sadly the beach was no near and there was a muddy smelly harbour and oyster beds instead. Breakfast ok, but badly laid out, all cold food and often the minimum set out. Expensive in house restaurant, but nowhere else nearby.

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay and thoroughly enjoyed the break.

We liked the area in which the property was. It was very good having parking also. We liked the “seaside “ decor and the outlook from the hotel.
