Pros:

A few minutes' walk from railway station, and easy parking on site. Comfortable bed. Staff friendly and quite efficient, but different ones each day! (We stayed two nights.) Impressive view over the river to the ramparts opposite.

Cons:

We choose Mercure for a 4-star standard, but this hotel fell far below. Our room was quite basic: more electric sockets would help, and the safe didn't work, and the shower head was not functioning as it should, and surely a 4-star hotel should offer glasses for over-night water, not paper cups? Generally the hotel needs up-dating, and indeed works were happening during our stay. There was little choice for dinner in the restaurant. The worst aspect was the noise from La Plage, a bar with loud, thumping music that stays open until 2am and is located below our room (326).

We thought we were entering a building site!.looked out of window onto scaffolding

L'emplacement pratique près de la gare. Belle vue sur les remparts.
Buffet du petit-déjeuner très bien dans l'ensemble, à un détail près.

Cons:

Le rapport qualité/prix n'est pas bon. L'établissement en cours de réfection sur la façade devrait l'être aussi dedans. Hall austère, voire spartiate, ensemble vieillot ; la chambre confortable mais sans plus, peu spacieuse, moquette usée et délavée.
Petit déjeuner : la crème de marrons couverte de moisissure.

Great, clean hotel near to all amenities.
Pros:

The rooms were spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel is on the edge of town and really close to some excellent restaurants. The staff were extremely polite and helpful.

Cons:

There was scaffolding around the hotel due to ongoing renovations, however, this did not spoil our stay there.

Trop cher pour ce que c'est
Pros:

Le prix de la chambre et des services est trop cher pour ne pas réussir à dormir à des moments de la nuit car l'hôtel est situé à coté d'un bar ou des personnes saoules trainent et hurlent la nuit.
Coté vieillot aussi de l'hôtel avec les tapisseries et la moquettes surtout.
Le matin, il y avait une dame qui n'était pas très agréable.
Bref, rapport qualité prix pas bon à mon sens.
