It was tired and dated, bathroom in particular needs updating. It was very small compared to the Ibis Geneva. It did not smell fresh or clean making it uncomfortable to sleep in. The passages leading to the rooms were filthy, and it was evident that they had not been kept clean for a long time. Overall a disappointing stay.

I honestly cannot understand how this place gets such a high rating.

They charge quite a lot for what they call a “breakfast buffet,” which consists mainly of bread, butter, some fruits and badly boiled eggs. This is definitely not worth the price. Please don’t waste your money on breakfast here.

No drinking water is provided either. Instead, there is a sign in the toilet saying that the water from the sink is drinkable. I understand that the tap water may be safe, but seriously — who wants to fill their drinking bottle from a toilet sink? Providing basic drinking water should be standard hospitality.

Overall, a very disappointing experience and certainly not worth the prices they charge. Pityful.
