Comfortable enough, no spa but naked people in the sauna 😂
Pros:

It was okay but nothing special. No aircon so a bit hot.

Cons:

No information in our room so unsure if drinks and nibbles were complimentary. They were but we didn’t know until leaving. Pool closed early.

Great hotel, friendly staff
Pros:

nice hotel with great facilities. Very close to Chineham business park

Cons:

Mattress was a little lumpy but okay for a couple of nights. I have stayed here before and not had the problem

Very dog friendly
Pros:

Loved the dog bed and bowl left for our fur baby. It was truly dog friendly. The staff were friendly and helpful, took into consideration mobility issues. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was good and 11am check out 😁

Cons:

Menu was a bit limited for those with limitations on the food they can eat (no spice etc) and the cod and chips were over cooked.

I had planned to stay two(paid for two nights) but I cut short my stay ! as it was too unrelaxing
Pros:

Judith the lady in reception was very polite and helpful

Cons:

There was a dog left alone in a room close to mine, which was barking periodically throught the evening until late
The restaurant staff were very inattentive and casual
The restaurant, is really a cafe/bar, where many people en-route to the spa, louter and chat without buying meals

A one off choice to meet up with family
Pros:

The swimming pool was very good. Location suited us for a visit to family. Reasonable price.

Hotel or leisure centre?
Pros:

The hotel has a nice vibe. Very clean and quite modern. Breakfast was nice and they did poached eggs on request. Parking free. 2 pools and a spa with big gym were good. Big bathroom with shower and bath in separate.

Cons:

The pools, spa and gym were more like a leisure centre in a hotel. The little pool had swimming lessons in for kids so not relaxing. The main pool had lots of people. Steam and sauna nice but not the relaxing spa we had hoped for. Room was very hot and aircon didn’t get cooler than 21 degrees. The beds were hard and the shower not as hot as it could be.

Perfect family weekend
Pros:

The staff in restaurant were very accommodating to our needs , looking after our needs both at dinner and breakfast . Always hot water for showers , great sun loungers

The only minor was no Jacuzzi in the swimming area
