Pros:

Great staff, clean and smart room, quiet. Great location for town and the bonus of parking if you drive. Really quick check in, good wifi. Great bed and a decent night's sleep.

Cons:

Hotel contacted me about an offer for the spa, which appeared to be six weeks out of date. I asked for clarification and did not receive a response. So I contacted the spa but the email address didn't work.

Not good.
Pros:

Lovely room, however the lounge was appalling. No beer as it was flat, no food, no cutlery and after thirty five minutes waiting we left. Then we went for breakfast….. there was absolutely no food out and after again waiting about twenty five minutes for hot food still nothing. Apparently they had had more people booking breakfast than they thought? So again walked out without eating. Huge disappointment. Not as good as it was.

Nice hotel in central location but cleanliness needs addressing as does the breakfast and how you keep food hot (not jus
Pros:

Central location. Reception staff are extremely polite. Car park on site. Bar area lovely

Cons:

The room was very small. Extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work. I don’t see the point of a fridge in the room if it doesn’t work either. The swimming pool area was dirty all the way around it. The jacuzzi was extremely hot. The changing room floors were also dirty, the staff there on reception didn’t seem to care when we told them.
Breakfast food ok but was all lukewarm and therefore spoilt it for the money you charge.

A stay in Nottingham city centre
Pros:

As Nottingham is our home city, staying in a local hotel wasn’t something we’d planned. We only booked the Crowne Plaza Nottingham due to an unexpected boiler failure at home, with the stay covered by our home insurance. What could have been a stressful and inconvenient situation was genuinely made much easier thanks to the quality of the hotel and the excellent service we received.

The hotel is centrally located, right next to Rock City nightclub, yet despite this it was surprisingly quiet. Even being in the heart of the city, noise was never an issue, which we really appreciated.

The spa facilities were a real bonus. The steam room and jacuzzi were both excellent, and while the pool is on the smaller side, it was ideal for relaxing. There is no sauna, but the facilities that are available are clean, well maintained, and very enjoyable to use.

Staff across the hotel were consistently friendly, talkative, and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay.

A particular highlight was the restaurant service. Rafae looked after us at dinner for four nights and provided outstanding service. He was attentive, proactive, and genuinely thoughtful. On the occasions when the kitchen had run out of an item, he always went out of his way to make it right — even offering small but much-appreciated extras such as an additional scoop of ice cream. That level of care really stands out.

Given the circumstances of our stay, the Crowne Plaza Nottingham more than made up for the inconvenience and stress of having no heating or water at home. It turned an unexpected situation into a comfortable and positive experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Absolutely loved it, I would definitely come again for the hotel and the spa
Pros:

The room was great, nice and clean and bathroom was big. The lounge/bar/restaurant area was gorgeous. The Spa was lovely and the treatment was amazing.

Cons:

If I'm nit-picking, I couldn't order an oat-milk hot drink from the bar because they only had one milk steamer and couldn't contaminate it with oat milk?? The cakes on the afternoon tea seemed to be have been sitting in a fridge for a long time, they were quite dense and a little dry.
