Bed was comfortable
Room a lot smaller than exported,
Shower door wouldn’t stay closed so bathroom flooded unless it was held while showering.
Towel rail broken.
Couldn’t take advantage of discounted breakfast at check in as was in able to leave card on to pay for it due to computer error

Hotel was brilliant and swimming pool was a great addition. We requested a quiet room but unfortunately was awaken around 3.30 am by a lot of noise outside, people shouting
The breakfast was very disappointing
The location, it was within walking distance as most of the places we wanted to visit.
The food in the restaurant was not worth the money charged also the service in the restaurant was poor, it took over an hour to get food and when we did get it, it wasn't satisfactory.
The staff were friendly hotel reception and bar area looked impressive.
The room was very small for the price we paid, and unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it. We ordered a light bite, which was extremely greasy and lacked any real flavour. The evening meal wasn’t much better, and in hindsight, we really wish we had chosen to eat out instead.
Breakfast was acceptable, but again quite bland and underwhelming.
It’s a shame, as the reception and bar area were lovely and gave a great first impression — it just didn’t carry through to the rooms or overall experience.
Overall, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
We stayed at the crowne plaza and were greeted by James. Very pleasant conversation. The hotel smelled great. Huge indoor area for food, bar and tvs for football.
The room was great too, massive bed and sky tv, free tea and coffee. Bathroom was clean and tidy too, they use normal loo roll and not sheets like premier inn!
Room also had air con too
View from our hotel room was pretty nice too.
£18 to park for 24hrs to park in car park linked to hotel. Little steep.
Hotel room service too, food to your door but limited menu.
Overall will definitely use again if we venture up to Nottingham again!
Leisure spa and breakfast
Our bathroom toilet was in a tight corner . This is the third time we’ve stayed at the hotel . But unfortunately the room we had this time was not as good very dark and lack of space.
The hotel Is beautiful and we loved the spa. As I entered the hotel it had a lovely aroma. All staff were so polite and helpful.
The air con was so noisy I couldn’t keep the room cool as I slept. The pillows were very small.

RAFAE our waiter for the whole evening was 12/10! He was absolutely brilliant. Introduced him with a smile and jokes all night. His confidence, recommendations for food and drinks was spot on. We started our night with just a quick drink after work turned into us having a meal in the restaurant. Lighting of restaurant was just right, not too dark and not loud. The food was from the restaurant wasn’t everything it was basic. I had a lasagna with skin on fries and side salad. Best part of the meal was the skin on fries, the were cooked fresh. The lasagna came out kinda of cold, no flavour all I could taste was the tomato, the beef was flavourless I could tell it has been sitting under there kitchens lights, as my friend had a starter of soup. RAFAE did offer to take it back to the kitchen but I was so hungry I declined. Instead he offered me a beverage, as I was drinking a Guinness which I appreciated. My friend is physically challenged, he made sure there was enough space to move, offered a pillow on the chair as he remembered from a previous visit from my friend which I loved. Restaurant area was clean, we was checked on at all times. When RAFAE went on break he told us and wished us a nice a evening. Bar female staff Sharna who first served us was robotic, no smiles, not much of a greeting. Mille I think her name was who took over RAFAE whilst on break was also amazing! Food was 5/10 - customer service was 10/10. IF we had cash we definitely would of tipped him £20. Surprised there wasn’t a service charge he was brilliant. Visited 1/05/2026 @ 18:26
Lovely hotel and all the staff were very friendly .
Excellent position for everything.
The breakfast was fantastic everything fresh and hot.
We had evening meal in the swatch restaurant and the staff were great and the food was lovely.
