There was no walk in shower which made it difficult and there was no hand rail on the wall to assist. An accident waiting to happen.

We liked the friendliness of all the staff, the comfort and decor throughout. Particularly enjoyed a swim in the pool. Great facility. We liked the seating in the restaurant and space between diners. Overall it was EXCELLENT

This was our second visit to The Crown Hotel Boroughbridge. Plentiful private parking makes this hotel a gem when visiting the Ripon area (a scenic 11 minute drive away). Check in was easy and the room was clean, decorated nicely and contained everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was exceptional! Great choices and unbelievably tastey bacon! (Emma offering my unwanted black pudding to my husband made his day!!).All this and a swimming pool!!!

Gym is getting tired. Needs new equipment. Some room noise from laundry room machines running at night.
Good location. Comfortable bed. Clean and well stocked with tea/coffee/hot chocolate/milk/biscuits. Nespresso machine annd kettle. Iron and ironing board. All toiletries provided.
The room was very warm. We couldn’t open the bathroom window and the towel rail radiator was on so it added to the heat. There was an electric fan in the room though which helped.
