Overall a pleasant stay.
Pros:

Food, Spa and other facilities were very good.

Cons:

Despite the hotel asking me the day before I arrived for my car reg and what time I am arriving, there was no parking for me as the car park was full. We had to pay to park in a public car park approx and carry our luggage to the hotel.
The bathroom in our Standard Double was very dated, could do with a refurb.

Another great stay
Pros:

This hotel is warm and welcoming.
Its in a beautiful yorkshire village and the hotel itself has so much history.
It also has a swimming pool that is free for guests to use, with steam and sauna, and also a gym. It has a beautiful coffee shop and also a fab restaurant serving wonderful food at very reasonable prices.
The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice.
We had a slight issue when we were here and it was dealt with in a prompt and professional manner by Racheal who is the hotel manager. ( thankyou again Racheal)
Thank you also to all the staff. We had a lovely time and cannot wait for our next visit.

Cons:

Having to leave 😕

What wonderful staff, can't wait to stay again.
Pros:

The Crown Hotel is in an ideal location. I parked without trouble directly outside. I had dinner at the Hotel which was really excellent. Very tasty, high quality, well cooked, and delivered by knowledgeable and friendly staff. I think the staff may well be the stand out delight in this great hotel. The room was well appointed and I liked the Roberts radio, free wifi, and the bed - I slept really well. In the morning there was an issue with the gas so the cooked options were limited but there was plenty of cold breakfast food and everyone could have a bacon or sausage sandwich so no one was hungry. The staff dealt with this issue really efficiently.

Cons:

The walls upstairs were a bit thin so I could hear a man next door snoring for ten minutes, also the bathroom is rather tired and needs a redec, there was black mould in the grout etc.
