A brilliant night.
Pros:

The staff were super friendly, views were amazing. Food was lovely. The shower was fantastic, as the eater pressure was actually really good. Most places ive stayed its been a dribble.

Cons:

It was cold.

Midweek break which was overall disappointing overall due to Executive Loung experience.
Pros:

My husband and I stayed at CP on Wednesday, 11th Feb and booked a King Room with Lounge access. We were offered a room on 16th floor which looked very tired, dark and bed looked as if it was slightly sagging in the middle. I went back to Reception who were very helpful and I asked for an upgrade to one of the suites which was on 15th floor and very comfortable. Unfortunately the Lounge at night was disappointing and the food was cold and red wine not as good quality as I remember in past visits. Only one bottle was brought out each time and I had to knock the door to let the girl know that it needed replenished due to the number of guests who drank red wine. No bottled beer anymore and a pump which made beer frothy. We gave up waiting in between and headed to the bar for a decent bottle of wine. My husband and I have stayed at CP on numerous occasions and just felt the quality of food and drink offered in the Lounge was not of great standard.

Breakfast was lovely and staff very welcoming overall but my husband and I just felt slightly deflated with the overall experience which was a first for in all the time times we have stayed there.

The stuff are great and the hotel is good, it just feels like it could do with an upgrade, it’s a bit old and tired
Pros:

Staff were great, good breakfast, large room, comfortable bed

Cons:

Lifts being replaced caused huge delays. Heating in room unresponsive, it was still cold even sat at maximum. Sink in room 1007 was cracked, toilet showed signs of Line scale buildup that haven’t been removed.
