We both enjoyed our stay at Grand Chancellor and have already recommended it to friends here in New Zealand.
Pros:

I Loved the location of the hotel. It was near great shops, restaurants and cafés which we used every day. We really liked Adelaide. I used the pool and spa four mornings out of five and it was a great way of starting the day.

Cons:

I would’ve liked hot chocolate in our room and a bathrobe would’ve been great too.

Pros:

Location, staff, rooms, food and drinks alway perfect
Pros:

Stayed here before and will definitely stay again, there is so much the motel has going on, the bar and restaurant the buffet breakfast, rooms are always comfortable and clean

Great place n location . All round we fully recommend the hotel
Pros:

Friendly staff . Room was well located , clean with very comfortable beds .
Location was perfect for central Markets and shopping malls and Botanical Gardens . Easy access to team to Glenelg
Breakfasts - fabulous and great selections

Great value for money on the not so busy end of Hindley st.
Pros:

I felt well looked after from the time I arrived till when I left. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly as were breakfast staff.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service
Pros:

The hotel is perfectly located to access the city centre and Adelaide oval. The staff were lovely and helpful. The rooms were immaculate.

Cons:

It was a little bit pricey- but worth the extra spend in the end.

Disability NOT friendly.
Pros:

Restaurants dinner

Cons:

Breakfast too busy..should allocate 1hour lots. As we notice some people sat there for very long time..only holding a coffee and their mobile phone.
And food needs to replenished quicker.

The shower is in the bath. Disability can't get in to have shower. Was there 4 days, no shower.

No pens or paper in rooms.
Extras like tooth brushes, comb not in rooms.

The grand Chancellor Hotel is in a great location, fairly priced with very good facilities and excellent staff.

Location, facilities, staff availability

Cons:

Our only disappointment was that we had asked for 2 rooms together and unfortunately, although on same floor, the rooms were at different ends of passageway. We were travelling with our granddaughter.
