Blue – A Modern Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Room was clean and neat. Staff was very friendly and professional. Nice amenities - very good free fresh baked cookies, snacks and water, coffee/tea. Nice bathroom. Small fridge- great for leftovers or cooling beverages. Microwave. Excellent tv. Great bed linens. Plenty of towels. Oh, and nice bathrobes and slippers. We definitely will come back. We often hp out to this area. It's good to find a hotel like this. Quiet, but just moments away from dining, shopping, and nearby local activities.

Staffing was inadequate at check-in. The process itself took much longer than it should have, especially because the reservation was done via Expedia and already paid for.

The room was dominated by a big vibrating chair thing, with no obvious instructions about using it anywhere. I mean it was a stark room with a bed and that chair-thing.

The water in the bathroom sink came out literally as a trickle. Made no sense because the fancy shower apparatus (best word to describe it) was robust.

Otherwise, someone did a nice job with refurbishing the common spaces and the room itself.

This was the best deal I could find when making a reservation the same week I needed one. It had a high rating at a lower cost than anywhere else in the area that I saw on hotels.com. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and well-kept. I didn't even know about the massage chairs which was an amazing perk! They have coffee machines that make all kinds of coffees (latte, regular coffee, etc) treats and hot chocolate. They could offer a few more options for the breakfast pastries but it was enough for me. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Loved this hotel and would stay there again.

Well maintained hotel with a friendly staff. I was very surprised how clean and quiet the hotel was. Book this place! I’ll definitely stay here again when in the area.

Outdoor free parking. Near entance

This is one of the best looking rooms I've ever stayed in. From the high tech lighting to the massage chair, the staff was so helpful and polite. This is the first choice in hotels when I'm in the area.

This hotel was brand new and so the facilities were very clean, modern and functional. The massage chairs in the room is really nice touch. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and made you feel right at home. They even gave us a little care package when we checked in with water and snacks. The parking was plentiful and convenient.
The only weird thing is the location of this hotel which is off the main road in west Springfield behind an old abandoned hotel. This is the only reason I am not giving it 5 out of 5!

The front test staff was amazing. She was so kind. The whole hotel is so nice and cozy very clean.

Yolanda and Victor were very friendly and welcoming. The have freshly backed cookies upon check in, butter croissants in the morning and a message chair in the room. Comfy beds, clean, beverage refrig, micro. Don't be alarmed by the abandoned hotel in the front as Blue is in the back.

Overal stay great :
Bed was comfortable for one night stay perfect however room need to be clean!
Things are redone with nice taste but seams like haveybeen deep clean after remodeling job

The hotel was newly renovated and clean. Very modern. The staff was outstanding. Super friendly and helpful. You don’t see service like that anymore.
