Holiday Inn London - Shepperton by IHG

I loved my stay and had an amazing experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, which was exactly what I needed after a long day at work. All of the staff were lovely and accommodating throughout my visit. I believe it was Ayra at reception who checked me in. She kindly offered me water and allocated me a room in a quiet corridor to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Very Thoughtful! Will definitely stay again.

We arrived at the lovely location (quite and with a stream in the grounds - like an oasis) around 3pm, the check in staff were lovely & helpful. Our room was clean, tidy (1 Double Premium Sofa Bed) - the aircon was lovely as it was already on! Some of the room could have used a lick of paint, some areas needed some moderate fixes to have lifted this up to five stars. Overall though clean, comfortable & the tea / coffee facilities were lovely. Milk in the fridge too :) We had cocktails & bar snacks around 4pm which were tasty, good sized portions. As the weather was so nice we sat outside which had a nice atmosphere and was regularly cleared up by the attentive staff. We chose to use the pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. All were small but perfect for us -it was quiet after 7pm (no children) & very few others in there so felt that we had a very relaxing time. Showers & facilities poolside were good & had everything we needed. We had drinks at the bar, atmosphere was great & were well looked after by Eamonn (brilliant barman) and had dinner in the restaurant where Ishma gave outstanding service. Our main meal was delicious and quite a big portion for the money, so we were very satisfied! Great night sleep had by us in our very comfortable bed and sofa bed! Highlight of the stay - breakfast was incredible! Included in our hotel price - which was a bargain rate! Julie and Alison did an amazing job taking us through the huge buffet and you could eat as much as you like. I have travelled a lot and this buffet was one of the best that I have seen. Fabulous stay - great value. We will definitely be back!

Having stayed at the Holiday inn at Shepperton before I was really impressed with the professional and friendly reception I recieved from the moment i checked in.
The place looked fresher after recent decoration and the sauna/gym facilities also have improved tremendously.
I noticed a new menu so ate in the bar area and really enjoyed the food which was reasonably priced.
I found all the staff very warm and friendly.
Have to mention Celine checking me in to Tea checking me out both very friendly and professional.

Had a lovely experience thanks to Ayra at reception. She was amazing, super helpful, and made everything so easy from start to finish. The hotel itself was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was relaxing and the restaurant had great food and service. Would definitely stay again!

Very friendly and helpful staff after a mix up with our room. Dealt with very promptly. Our new room was clean and comfortable.
Our waitress, Julie, was very efficient and friendly.

Some of the best customer service we have experienced and we have been to a lot of hotels. Tea at the desk was so friendly and fetched me ice for my drink to go home, Julie in the restaurant was so cheerful and friendly, really made us feel welcome and I believe it was Ayra in the restaurant the previous evening did absolutely everything to make sure we had a great experience. Whatever they do here to make staff so attentive, keep doing it!

Arrived for a 2 night stay as going to Paw Patrol world. Check in team helpful, made sure we had interconnecting rooms. Small play area for kids to keep themselves busy whilst we had a pre dinner drink. Alexyus and her team were attentive and ensured meal went smoothly.
I would recommend as a family friendly chain hotel.

Everything worked as expected, Internet etc. Breakfast and dinner were good. A bit outside of town, so we didn't go into the town of Shepperton. There was an Ironing board in the room. Seemed to be a bit of an older building and a maze to get to the room. Fun to see photos from Shepperton studios on the wall.

Waleed was very helpful and friendly would definitely recommend this place to anybody!

Another 5 star stay. We have a family member with food intolerances and the staff in the restaurant where great as normal. Every staff member acknowledges you as walk around the hotel. Great location for local attractions and a great route into the capital.

This hotel is run by staff who care about the guest experience, going the extra mile to ensure a quality stay in a clean modern environment.
Equipped with fantastic bar and restaurant alongside pool/spa and gym.
Rooms are clean well equipped and comfortable.
Ishak and team always offer a polite greeting and look after guest needs whilst the Bar Restaurant Team deliver a relaxed atmosphere with quality food and drink.
Paula and team make breakfast a warm and enviting experience.

We were a group of 50 from Manchester. The hotel processed our arrival quickly. The rooms were more than comfortable and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was great. Many thanks to the staff. A special mention to Julie in the restaurant. She was friendly, helpful and brought a smile to everyone.

The hotel is large but well appointed with extensive grounds, pool, gym, sauna etc. our room was large and comfortable and breakfast was v good, including proper bread to toast not cheap sliced Homepride you often get. Perfect for an overnight stay.

This was a very poor experience. None of the rooms had working air conditioning, which appeared to be centrally switched off, and despite raising it multiple times, nothing was done. Offering two glasses of wine for 11 people felt completely inadequate.

One room (226) was in an unacceptable state — wet bed, hairs in the bathroom, urine on the toilet, dirty surfaces and no bin liners. It was reported at 6:30pm and not partially addressed until after midnight, which is unacceptable. The only gesture offered was a Baileys, which was frankly insulting.

Two rooms were next to a delivery bay, and with no air con the windows had to stay open, meaning guests were woken around 4am by deliveries. When I asked to speak to the duty manager the next morning, I was told they refused to come out. We were only offered 30% off two rooms, despite all six being affected.

A formal complaint has since received no response at all, and as this appears to be an IHG franchise, there seems to be no accountability from IHG either. Overall, a very disappointing stay well below expected standards.

The staff here were very friendly and helpful especially Julie in the restaurant who dealt with a large group of us extremely efficiently.

Top service and lovely location. The bar man Eamonn made the best rum punch I’ve had since I was on the black pearl with Jack Sparrow

Arrived 2.45 am after a long drive from Leeds, tired and ready for bed. Abdullah on reception understood straight away how exhausted I was. He took care of me got me checked in, sorted out my breakfast for the morning, even rang, once in my room, to say I hadn't verified my vehicle reg for the onsite parking and did it for me. To say he went out of his way would be an understatement. I stay in so many hotels where the staff have no empathy and lack human compassion it was so refreshing to be greeted by someone as genuinely caring as Abdullah. The next day breakfast staff and reception lady I think her name was Thea were so lovely too its a credit for Holiday Inn for having such brilliant people.

Highly recommend very welcoming and pleasant especially Julie and her hospitality, she made us feel very welcomed and loved seeing her every morning.
