Die für uns gute zentrale Lage und das gemütliche Bett!

Cons:

Das Frühstück! Für den Preis, erwarte ich ein bisschen mehr Vielfalt, auch mit ,,besonderen Bedürfnissen". Es gibt nichts (außer Obst) was vegan ist und das glutenfreie Brot schmeckt wie Pappe. Das geht auch anders!

Pros:

Wir waren in Mainz auf dem Open Ohr Festival auf der Zitadelle und sind mit dem Zug angereist. Das Hotel liegt für diese Kombination absolut perfekt: in wenigen Gehminuten vom Bahnhof "Römisches Theater" im Hotel, von dort in wenigen Gehminuten sowohl in der Zitadelle als auch (in entgegengesetzter Richtung) am Rhein oder in der Altstadt.

Frühstück gibt es am Wochenende bis 11:00 Uhr und Check out ist bis 12:00 Uhr ganz entspannt möglich.

Wir durften sogar am Abreisetag unser Gepäck bis zum späten Nachmittag im Hotel lassen und konnten deshalb einen späteren Zug nehmen und noch mehr Zeit in dieser tollen Stadt verbringen.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und super entspannt im Umgang mit den Gästen.

Interessant fand ich die "Einsparungen", die mir im Hotel auffielen:
Im Badezimmer gibt es pro Person nur 1 großes Duschhandtuch, das (übliche) zusätzliche kleine Handtuch hat man dort weggelassen.
Wenn man möchte, wird das Handtuch täglich gewechselt.
Den entsprechenden Hinweis, den Handtuchwechsel bitte unter Berücksichtigung von ökologischen Aspekten vorzunehmen, finde ich sinnvoll und gut.

Seife und Duschgel/ Shampoo werden in großen, fest installierten Spendern angeboten. Es gibt keine kleinen plastikverpackten Einzelportionen.

Das Frühstück bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Auch hier wird darauf geachtet, das Angebot auf den Servierplatten und in den Schüsseln dem Bedarf entsprechend anzupassen und lieber etwas nachzufüllen, als es im Übermaß auf dem Buffet zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Weil das Fruhstückspersonal an Pfingsten jedoch sehr knapp bemessen war (absichtlich oder mangels genügend Personal??

Gutes City-Hotel in excellenter City-Lage
Pros:

Lage mitten in der City, Fahrradplätze in der Tiefgarage mit Werkzeug etc., Fenster sind schallisoliert, Klimaanlage, gutes Frühstück mit vielen Extras, Brauhaus "Eisgrub" direkt in der Nähe

Cons:

Lautstärke bei offenem Fenster nicht auszuhalten, Zimmer recht eng, Klimaanlage recht laut

Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt, das Zentrum und der Rhein zu Fuss zu erreichen auch die Bahn um z.B. nach Gustavsburg zum Burgfest zu fahren

Hotel war zweckmässig mit Umständen
Pros:

Das Hotel ist einfach und zweckmässig. Im Zimmer war jedoch knapp Platz. Das Frühstück hat uns gut geschmeckt.

Cons:

Im ersten Zimmer, von dem wir den Schlüssel erhielten, war schon jemand drin. Eine Entschuldigung haben wir keine erhalten. Trotz Reservation eines Babybetts und Bestätigung wurde erst nach langem Hin und Her eines plötzlich gefunden. Die Schuld wurde auf uns geschoben, dass wir die Reservation nicht über die Homepage gemacht hätten.
