Beautifully designed, an elegant boutique hotel. Extremely clean. Location is excellent.
Self parking is limited and quite challenging.
The hotel was in a great location, walkable to Speightstown, very clean hotel with beautiful decor. Rooms where a great size with separate seating are and kitchenette. Restaurant served fantastic choice of breakfast. Bar and pool area was superb. Staff went out of their way to assist you. Would definitely recommend

The main restaurant/bar area decor, food and gardens
Having built several gyms, the equipment needs updating and harmonising. Rower machine didn’t even have working screen. Area for gym was lovely but perhaps an area for pulls/dips and a better rack for the free weights which is too high and dangerous for fingers when weights put back.
The rooms were also iow to the outside with slats which let all the mosquitos in
Staying at Cobblers Cove was a treat of a lifetime. Set in a stunning location with some of the best swimming on the island and surely the loveliest garden of all.
Every inch of the hotel is beautifully designed, impressively combining elegance, originality and comfort while maintaining huge Caribbean charm.
The restaurant is amazing in that it produces a new and delicious menu everyday - I don't think any other hotel I have stayed in has managed this. Combining stunning nourishment with using the well-equipped gym and the incredible sea, I returned home revitalised and genuinely looking forward to returning soon.
We had a fabulous time at Cobblers and wished we were there for longer. It has a wonderful aesthetic inside and out both in our room and communal areas. We were charmed by the staff who were delightful and efficient. We loved the speedboat tour of the coast and being able to snorkel in clear warm water just yards away from the hotel beach. The food was excellent as were the cocktails served at the super stylish bar. Could not recommend more highly.
On the positive side, the beach view is absolutely beautiful and the breakfast was excellent, which were definite highlights of our stay.
We stayed at this hotel over Thanksgiving and wanted to share a few important considerations for future guests. The property is quite isolated—there is no way to walk to restaurants, shops, or other attractions from the hotel, so a car or transportation is essential.
In the room, air conditioning is only available in the main sleeping area. The bathroom and seating area do not have AC, which made those spaces uncomfortable at times. Additionally, water availability is very limited, which for us is a big downside. If you plan to stay here, I strongly recommend buying bottled water ahead of time at a nearby supermarket.
Although the hotel states that reserving pool chairs is not allowed, in practice most guests do reserve them. Unless you do the same, it can be very difficult to find an available chair.
While the hotel may work for some travelers, these are key details to be aware of when planning your stay.
Only stayed 3 nights as moving onto St Lucia but loved the ambience and high standard of everything. Food was good , gardens and rooms beautiful. Staff lovely and helpful.
Only disappointment was the sunbed reserving from guests. Unable to get a bed in the sunshine due to guests reserving them and keeping them all day. The policy against reservation isn’t enforced. If you want the shade it won’t be a problem. Glad we didn’t stay longer for this reason alone.
Otherwise it’s a small hotel with lots of attention to detail. Decor is adorable. Easy access to the sea and a 30 mins complimentary speed boat trip is a nice touch.
Fond memories of Cobblers Cove.
Location is good, beachfront and around 40-60 minutes from Bridgetown
Atmosphere - very nice. Private . Peaceful
Rooms nicely decorated by no tv.
Value not worth it.
Cobblers cove is beautiful and there were many great things, the room was spacious, the balcony overlooked the garden and listening to the birds singing was great. They give you cold towels to cool off at the pool. The breakfast was sensational, the water sports are included. Afternoon tea is nice especially the lemonade.
But for the same price you can stay in a 5* all inclusive. Here you get breakfast only and if you want lunch it works out around $125 usd for 2 people, dinner around $175 usd for 2 people. The tone was set when they said, you can drink tap water rather than a complimentary bottled water. They request you use specific sunscreens to avoid staining the furniture yet the one I bought from the shop stained my clothes. No tv in the room. I get that you don’t go on holiday to watch tv but it’s nice to have the option.
The staff were friendly and it was a lovely stay, it’s just a bit too expensive for what it offers.
Another wonderful experience, a big thank you to Joanna and team food was delicious from breakfast through to dinner, high quality ingredients beautifully cooked and presented in Barbados most amazing restaurant, nothing was too much trouble , attentive and kind, would highly recommend recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing 5 Star experience.
This hotel is good for couples and is very quiet. Plenty of lounge chairs arranged in sets of 2 so if you have a large party, it’s kind of hard to put the chairs next to one another, but if it’s just the two of you, it’s fantastic. Very quiet by the pool, no music during the day and plenty of shade the staff here is very goodand very nice. They do a great job and we’re very helpful. The restaurant was good for dinner and breakfast was very good also. The hotel is a little far from holetown and from some other restaurants. Also, I didn’t realize that this hotel in a lot of the rooms does not have a windows. They only have shutters so I would definitely make sure that you confirm that your room has windows. We had to move our room as the first one had no air-conditioning in the living area and the bugs were coming in like crazy. The second room we went to which was closer to reception had full windows and air-conditioning in both rooms. If you want a quiet, peaceful hotel that I would stay here but for me, I need a little bit more action also no TVs anywhere on the property and if they do bring one in you have to make sure that you have your streaming account. In all nice people at this hotel, but not my cup of tea.
Lovely hotel and beautiful setting very pretty all in pink and white. Lots of niggles though. Internet is very poor and went down completely this afternoon
Tonight we had no water at all, so could not shower or flush a toilet, and the phone in the room does not work, so each time we trott off to reception. Such a shame as it bills as a great hotel
Very relaxing beach front hotel. Nice pleasant bar and restaurant. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Very comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome we. The food could be improved a bit hit and miss. We will look forward to a return visit. Water sports and spa available.
It’s truly beautiful and if you like pink you’re in for a treat. It’s quite an old crowd , which for us was great, peace and quiet !
The food was very nice and they come round during the day with ice towels and ice water fruit kebabs and sorbet.
You get a daily boat trip included in your stay so make sure you use it. You can go snorkelling or water skiing really lovely touch.
I’m afraid to say apart from a few the staff really aren’t that friendly. Also location wise it’s a little way out, but that’s a matter of opinion.
BEAUTIFUL gardens; great room, food and drinks. Overall a cool, artsy yet classy hotel.
Getting to see monkeys is an amazing experience!
The “beach” was not properly kept. The staff was mostly amicable but there were some notorious exceptions.
Caters to an older crowd.
Stayed for a week - our first time here despite coming frequently to Barbados. The renovation work (front lobby and drive) was still ongoing and am sure will be completed soon. Katisha & Kashae (Reservations) were very helpful. All the staff were excellent. Rooms were spotlessly clean. The footprint of the hotel and gardens is relatively small, however the clever planting of trees and shrubs means it feels very private and tranquil. An easy (flat) 10 minute walk into Speightstown for a change of scene.
Beautiful hotel and staff were absolutely charming. Could not of wished for a better stay! Thank you!
Went there today for a potential stay next year. However the young manager totally refused to let us look around saying we couldn’t due to safety & security of the guests. My husband walked off in absolute disgust. We have been coming to Barbados for over 40 years and stayed in many different places on the island but never in Speightstown.I have to say we have never been spoke to with rudeness & arrogance in all the years we have been coming here. We have some friends staying with you next year and I just hope you treat them with more respect than you have done with us today. Needless to say we will definitely not be booking here to stay !!!.
