Loved the area and location, but will not stay at this motel

Was told housekeeping only came to rooms if we asked directly, was not told that at check in🤨
We asked for new towels, as we had used all towels… desk clerk said he could bring us towels…. He did not

Pros:

Was a comfortable room liked that my daughter got her own room attached to us. He was within a close distance of downtown which was nice.

Cons:

You can tell it is an old hotel, it's definitely aged. Blinds in my daughter's room were held together by paper clips that made it pretty fun to open. Our security lock on our door flip lock was broke completely off.

Improper behavior
Pros:

Location was good.

Cons:

During check in the rep at the desk made a personal call to pay one of his bills and when I spoke to him he gestured the wait a moment sign and continued his personal call to pay his bill. Even my children didn't appreciate this behavior at all. He called them after he started our check in process.

The location was great an for your trip it was very fairly priced for the amount of time spent in our room
