Too loud, kids running around and slamming the doors in the middle of the night for hours. Rooms you can not adjust the temperature in the room and it’s freezing
Upgrades in the rooms
The pool was great, and having a room that opened to the pool was very convenient for our kids.
Not the hotel's fault, but what ruined our stay was the people above us. They were so loud, and their kids were banging/running until 1:00am. We were driving from Winnipeg to Ottawa to take my daughter to University. We were quite tired for the drive from TBay to Sault St Marie because of it.
Nice rooms, good location, next to everything
No breakfast, wifi a bit slow
It had ample parking and was in an excellent area for our appointments.
The air conditioning wasn’t working properly but maintenance quickly solved the problem.

The food at the restaurant was good!
Not inviting, riff raff loitering outside the entrance and inside the lobby. People sitting on the hood of MY car and ehen asked not to sit on my car, they gave me a dirty look. Not once did we feel safe leaving the room until we got to the car! The pool was over loaded with kids and no adult supervision. We couldn't even use the pool area. The walls were not insulated, 1.5 inch gap at the bottom of the door to the hallway. Dirty floors. One small elevator got the whole 3 story building. Kid SCREAMING next door until 2:30 AM all the nights we stayed. The room across the hall was having continuous loud knocks on their door with "guests". Police came 2 times. I contacted the front desk EVERY night about the same BS and ask the did was offer a free breakfast. That's all. The last night, I called about the screaming 4 year old next door AGAIN and within 10 minutes, security was knocking on MY door to "remind" me of the quiet hours and to respect them! I informed him that I was the one calling about the noise and he looked confused. Never did anything else to remedy the screaming. Completely a waste of vacation time, money and a trip. We would never go back there. They are clueless on how to treat guests and make others adhere to the rules and regulations THEY set for all guests to enjoy their stay and get rest. They are clueless on how to run a business and be hospitable. They should give back SOME of my money but instead, they apologized 3 nights in a row and on the last morning, offered a free breakfast. Ridiculous and laughable business practice! Don't waste your time or money staying here. Drug hang out and LOTS of suspicious activity! Not a safe feeling! Management didn't care and won't rectify the issue. They just say, "Sorry! "
