NH Muenchen City Süd

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now. I love how clean and respectful it is here. Transport to and from city centre and airport is perfect, a bus just outside the doors either side of the road. A big shopping centre about 15-20 mins walk away.

Very nice hotel. We opted for the updated room which was large and very comfortable. Seemed a bit far from the downtown core, but that was my fault for not doing more research. If you’re looking for a quality hotel, I’d recommend staying here.

Reception people were horrible !

Room was not entirely clean, not cozy, not great amenities, every food item for purchase downstairs is expired. Staff was nice but that’s all they got going for them.

I stayed here 5 years ago and i knew this was the most suitable and perfect hotel for us to stay in. Easy transport system straight outside the hotel, in both directions. Lovely walk to the nearest park Ostpark. Easy walk to the nearest shopping centre. Lovely viee of the nearest churches and fields on the other side. Would stay here again anytime i visit München

It's a very good property and convenient to all

The photos in the ad are very old. It is the same hotel, but the rooms are much more beat up than in the pictures. The cleaning services sucks. When you sit on the toilet, you can see the refection of the light to show you how filthy everything is and how surfaces probably go months without being cleaned. This then makes you take notice of the rest of the grime everywhere else. When you get back to your hotel, you want to relax, but here you just feel gross. On top of all of that I could not connect wifi to my work computer. I could connect to the wifi, but it would not let me connect to the internet over wifi. I spoke to the front desk, and they didn't know how to fix it. They only offered to move me to a different room. I explained that the problem wasn't the wifi signal, it was that it said the internet was disconnected. But the person at the front desk said he didn't know how to fix that. Avoid this hotel.

The toilet had insects and the staff weren’t that friendly even when we arrived at 11:30 PM we asked for a little bit extra time after checkout and they asked for more money! What hotel doesn’t have coffee?!!

I liked that it had a sauna during this season, sadly very that is advertised in this hotel works, including the app. Waited 2 hours last night for an on-app service, but had to walk down to lobby to find out that it was only 1 staff on duty, she was overwhelmed by on-app requests and no-one can help. Heating in room was broken, TV remote was absent, the lobby eating area was dirty, with half-full cups of coffee standing around at lunchtime, the floors had spills on them. Not a good experience. NH Hotel group won't ever get another booking frim me.

It was easy to walk around the area and quiet. Nothing fancy, but we’ll worth the price.

The room and common areas where clean. There was one towel that looked stained/dirty. Both receptionists I spoke to knew english, which was helpful. Everything about the hotel was great.

Quiet, safe, easy access to public transportation

The location of the property is a bit outside of town. To get anywhere you need to hop on the 55 bus and then transfer to another mode of transportation. Overall the hotel was nice and clean. You do hear a lot of road noise but I think you would hear that anywhere in the city.

The agents were so friendly and helpful

Arrived and was greated in the usual direct German way which was to be expected but this staff member in particular just didn’t want to be there and was asking me to sign something and wouldn’t wait for me to read what it was before yelling that I just sign and go. Not a great start. Other staff were fine later on in the stay. The room was massively over priced for what it was. A very tired looking hotel which I would barely pay €40 a night for.

The positives: shower was decent and the room seemed to be fairly well located with a bus stop outside to get you to Munich East where you can get all over the city from.

Negatives: Overpriced, dingy lighting, really hot and loud with traffic outside so can’t really open the windows to cool it down at night. The curtains do not cover the whole windows so you will be woken at the crack of dawn with the sun.

Requested a queen bed but had two singles just rolled together.

The main benefit was that I really wanted to not be in the room so got out to explore the city very early as wanted to be anywhere other than that room.

The room was at the top floor, and it was not comfortable

Great little hotel. Small showers but they worked great. Breakfast was delicious and people there were very attentive. You can easily take the bus to get to them.

Shower was dangerous. Had to be really careful stepping out. No mini fridge.
