Todo estuvo bien
It as nice hotel close to "La Barceloneta" and the "Gothic Quarter". The subway station is also a few blocks away. The room was little bit small, but if you are going to spend the day outside it is fine.
Overall, everything was fine, but I must point out that the hotel does not seem to take the security of guests’ personal data seriously enough.
I was contacted by a scammer via WhatsApp who had the exact details of my reservation (date, time, room, and name) and asked me to make a payment. And yes, even as an IT professional, I fell for it. I can only imagine how many other guests could become victims of similar scams.
This situation could potentially have been prevented if the hotel management had enforced better IT security practices to protect guests’ personal information. Just imagine what could happen if credit card details were also exposed
La ubicación céntrica
A pesar de la lluvia no había calefacción y emparamados no pudimos ni secarnos el pelo con el secador porque luego de usarlo 2 minutos se apagaba
Camera accogliente e pulita, con bagno spazioso e un’ampia doccia. Colazione con un’ottima e abbondante scelta, sia dolce che salata. Staff gentile e disponibile.
Ho apprezzato particolarmente la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli sia prima del check-in sia dopo il check-out, un servizio davvero comodo.
Pomocna obsługa, bardzo dobra znajomość języka angielskiego, pyszne śniadania (ogromny wybór) , lokalizacja idealna (bardzo blisko komunikacja miejska, zoo i sklepy spożywcze), czystość i cisza!
Brak smart tv w pokojach (konieczność oglądania tv po hiszpańsku), brak chociaż drobnej chłodziarki na wode czy jogurty na kolację

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but what truly made our stay special was the reception staff. They were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful with every request.
We had a small issue with the shower, and when we informed them, they handled it perfectly. While we went out for a walk, they moved us to a beautiful, clean, upgraded room, transferred all our belongings, and even left us champagne with a personal note written in Hebrew, our language. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture.
They also allowed us a late checkout at a very attractive price, which was incredibly convenient.
We honestly couldn’t be happier that we chose Hotel Santa Marta. The level of service and attention exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommended — 10 out of 10!
