Good hotel in handy location.
Pros:

Location was good.
Freindly staff.
Great coffee downstairs.
Train station under hotel.
Heaps of public carparks under hotel that cater to higher vehicles, a bit pricey though!

Cons:

Poor lighting in the room.
Shower over bath tub.
Bed and fresh towels wern't done everyday even though we left the tag on the door to do so, but that isnt a deal breaker.

Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
Pros:

The location to the ICC where we were exhibitors at The Home Show. The onsite parking was very convenient. We had dinner one night, the restaurant was excellent with fabulous food and staff.

Cons:

The servicing of the room was disgusting, if done at all. Our dirty cups which we used in the morning had been dumped in our bathroom sink still dirty. The bed sheets just pulled up, the bed not made. Used glasses not cleaned or replenished. The tea/coffee/milk not replenished. We complained on multiple occasions and nothing changed. Some of the 'clean' glasses were smudged and smeared.

Exceptional service for family with wheelchair
Pros:

Our daughter is in a wheelchair and the staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. A big shout out to Amanda, Andrew and Ricky and all the staff that provided amazing service.

Dissatisfied with service for the price, was expecting the service to be better than what it was.
Pros:

Cafe was good. Great location to exhibitions and the metro

Cons:

Staff were not helpful, requested for our room to be cleaned as we were staying for 2 nights but it did not happen. The tv in the room did not work properly. We did not have clean coffee cups and spoons to make coffee. We did not have clean towels for a 2 night stay which was very dissatisfying and unprofessional. No staff or management followed up our room clean after personally visiting the reception desk and requesting the room be cleaned. On check out the staff were going to notify management of my complaint and have someone contact me but still have not been contacted. No discount or apology was given as I had booked thru Booking.com and was told because of school holidays the price for the 2 night stay was higher than normal and could not give a discount, an offer of a free coffee was not accepted as we had just finished breakfast before checkout. Very dissatisfied and will not recommend the Novotel. Very dissatisfied with service.
