Brilliant hotel and location. But could do better on the breakfast especially for what you charge.
Pros:

The whole ambience of the Hotel. The staff brilliant. Location just right.

Cons:

The breakfast. Utensils so hot you couldn't pick them up. The food was only Luke warm. By the time you got to your table it was more or less cold.

Pros:

location was great opposite the shopping centre
clean

Cons:

Check in - lady had a problem with nasal noise! not nice
room was cold
bed was cold
sealant around the shower needed attention - black mould
both evening meals a problem with
1st waited ages for puddings and 2nd chicken was not cooked through

great value smart looking hotel with a well connected location.
Pros:

Plenty of parking, easy to record parking on tablets located in reception.
Friendly staff in all areas.
Welcoming bar area, felt relaxing.
Hotel room had plenty of space, standard was good. Liked the way bottled water was supplied in the re-useable glass bottles and already in the mini fridge keeping chilled.

Cons:

The passenger lifts felt out of date and poor quality when compared with the rest of the hotel. The control buttons were sometimes slow to respond. Gave the impression that the lift could become stuck.
Felt that the swimming pool complex needed some minor refurbishment work doing to raise standards to meet other areas of the hotel.
Wooden door frames have rotted around the base. Poolside shower was only cold water.
Also noted that the pool temperature felt quite chilly.

Stayed here before and staff and rooms are very good

Cons:

Sadly on this occasion my room was opposite the lift which was in action until 1.15am and then started again around 4.15am so not great for a good night's sleep. I was only staying for one night but will defintiely request a room away from the lift when staying again

Pros:

Rooms were lovely and spacious and breakfast we great value and well prepared.

walking distance to an affluent well mixed Solihull old town centre

I had a bath room not a shower room - but I never specifically requested shower room

Great location, rooms bathroom dated and dirty carpet. Welcome perfect bar staff poor.

The gentleman who checked us in was very polite and helpful. Explained about hotel and asked if we needed a dinner reservation.

Comfortable, cosy, and relaxing - and great value for money.
Pros:

All of the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. The room itself was cosy with everything expected and more: tea/coffee/biscuits, a not-completely-white bathroom with bathtub, and air conditioning not quite on par with the USA but more than enough to keep one comfortable during a British summer. Breakfast and room service was not just excellent - the chocolate fondant was perhaps the highlight of my entire trip.

Cons:

The standard queen bed was two single beds put together, with a noticeable detent in the centre - slightly unpleasant, but expected as "standard" and not by any means uncomfortable. Sadly not much of a view from the relatively-small, high-positioned window. The bath/shower itself is a bit "aged", and a little difficult to have a shower without also flooding the bathroom floor (I apologise to the cleaners for all the soaked towels!)
