Pros:

The food was excellent and reasonable, the staff were great, the spa was also excellent,the pool heated just .we were up from Hertfordshire to visit family,would highly recomend this hotel and looking to come back asap.

Room for improvement
Pros:

The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pool/spa was small but pleasant and relaxing. The parking area was close to the entrance. Bed mattress was comfortable. Location convenient for NEC. The general decor was very nice.

Cons:

We had to change rooms as the lighting was faulty and flickering and the room was rather dark as there was no window - just a skylight. (No weekend maintenance staff there to fix the fault). The pillows in both rooms were hard and uncomfortable. The restaurant area and the food was very average and the produce not fresh (frozen vegetables for example). Lacking ambience. There was music and noise keeping us awake until just after midnight.
