Location was fine. It's Earls Court, not really Kensington. Just the same borough. There was a gym which had new equipment, though very isolated in the basement. The beds, after removing the headboard, were fine.
Feels like a budget property dressed up with a trendy design. The renovation appears fairly superficial, and overall it didn't meet my expectations of a four-star hotel.
My room was located on the ground floor of a separate building and was surprisingly difficult to access, requiring multiple (staff) elevators and a walk through an alleyway. The room had single-pane windows facing the street and plumbing noise. After a room change, I was moved to a room on the third floor. It was better, but being directly opposite the elevator meant frequent noise from guests in the hallway, especially at night and early in the morning.
The beds also have an oversized headboard that reduces the usable mattress length by around 10 cm. Anyone taller than 1.80 m may find the bed too short or need to remove the headboard.
O pessoal foi de extrema dedicação na resolução de um problema. Muito bom!
Modern decor, clean, well curated place, fairly spacious
Nothing
The staff are awful.
Comfy bed
Had to ask 4 times for a fan to be brought up to the room as the air con wasn’t working properly in the middle of a heatwave. 5th time the manager rang up and asked if we wanted a fan. Staff aren’t professional at all. We then were locked out of our room at 12.45am after going to the second floor to get some water as the water dispenser on the 4th floor wasn’t working. Asked for more towels to be brought up to the room and they never arrived either. No parking facilities either.
Quarto e café da manhã maravilhoso
Tudo perfeito.
I dinned at Kenny’s yesterday, 29th of May 2026. I was looking for a place for a bit of dinner and I saw this quaint place that looked newly done, still had that fresh smell of new paint and new furniture on the side of Hogarth road. The restaurant as a whole was absolutely gorgeous and the bar was stunning, both contemporary and vintage. It had a feeling of a live art gallery.
I was welcomed with smiles and cheerfulness brimming from
Ear to ear! I was given top tier service from the start. The service went beyond that robotic, manufactured care most people are well accustomed to in London, a transactional acquaintance of a customer and vendor.
I ordered 4 sides, Hummus Paphos, Appliance Burrata, Smoked Ham Hock & Chorizo and the Semolina bread. Ordered the Ken Bun as the main and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert.
The food was brought to the table within 15 minutes and was brought it the manner I requested it. All of it together except for the dessert!
The exec chef brought the food himself and explained the origin of the food and where he source ingredients. The chef’s personal touch elevated the dining experience at Kenny’s, it also simultaneously elevated my expectations of the food.
He went on to explain, the Burrata is brought from Puglia and tomato grown in an abandoned London Underground tunnel using a hydroponic system. The balance of flavours of the burrata, not sweet tomato and the light olive oil perfectly rounded the flavour profile of the light starter!
The homemade semolina bread I think is a must have with this starter, the crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside, this simple combination soothes the soul!
The homemade hummus had the perfect balance of tangyness, sweet and sour and that rich earthy kick. Toasted chickpeas rounded the dish with a bit of crunchiness too! The texture was smooth and velvety, just perfect!
The ham hock and chorizo was incredible, captured the complete flavour profile. It was crispy, spicy, tangy and also the white sauce that garnished the dish cools your palette so you can enjoy every bite without compromising the taste! You simply cannot stop eating! I wish there was main dish of the sort! Absolute 10/10!
Now to the main dish, the hero! The Ken Bun! From the soft lightly toasted, brioche buns, the generous and juicy burger of the absolute best quality meat, the sweet and tangyness from the carmelized onions, the thick crispy sort of Carmelized bacon strip and to top it off the runny egg York cooked to perfection! I was told the eggs are organic and brought from Cotswold by the chef.
The dessert, Sticky Toffee Pudding, When I put a spoon full of the sticky toffee pudding with its Madagascan vanilla FroYo custard cream. The warm and soft pudding in the rich velvety sticky toffee sauce and the custard cream froyo makes every spoonful a moment stuck in time! This ranks right on top with the tiramisu I had from Burj a few years back! Absolutely stunning!
Close to the tube. Super king size bed was comfortable.
Waiting time at the reception was a bit long. Took me 20 minutes to pick up my bags
Close connected to the tube
The rooms in the basement smell. There appear to be leaks in the wet area. The shower mixer tap is difficult to adjust. There is no natural ventilation. Never again in the basement – I’d prefer a room on one of the upper floors.
The staff are abysmal, most of them have zero customer service skills. There was also someone else’s hair throughout the bathroom when I checked in, a broken socket in the bathroom, and awful water pressure for the shower.
Great hotel near the Earl’s Court Underground Station. The rooms are spacious enough, very clean and not stuffy. They have both heating and air conditioning, which made our hot weekend in London very pleasant. Breakfast is also great and as we needed to leave very early they kindly made us a little bag to go with a sandwich, some fruit and juice! We will come back!
Beds were extremely comfortable, aircon was a blessing in the heat wave and the location was superb! 3 minute walk to the tube station, and near lots of lovely restaurants yet still on a quiet road.
Some staff weren’t the friendliest at times. We went for a drink in the hotel bar at 10pm (bar shuts at 11pm) and we were rushed and rudely told numerous times last orders would be soon. (We only had an appletiser)
Beautiful design led hotel, the rooms have such character and style. Great location too, so close to the underground at Earls Court and then the lovely Kensington neighbourhood environment. You have to eat at Kenny's the food is really good and very well priced, relaxing environment the perfect bleisure option!
Punto di forza la pulizia
Ottima posizione in zona ben servita ,anche dalla metro
Stanza non molto ampia
Assenza di frigobar
Great location, so close to the Earls Court Underground Station but off that busy street by just a couple of minutes walk. Breakfast each morning was well worth including, nice variety and hot eggs/omelettes if you ask. Nice selection of restaurants nearby and Sainsbury Local (grocery/supplies) not far away to stock up to the long day trips. Overall a great experience and would stay at The Cura again without hesitation.
