Nice try room, was surprised. Great location for U of I events

It was clean. Not crowded at all.
Parking is an issue. Especially if you arrive later in the evening. Have to unload and then move car. Plumbing needs to be updated in rooms.

Spacious room and a nice view of buildings/construction
The overall experience was disappointing from start to finish. The hotel room was difficult to locate, and the directions provided were unclear. I found that the flooring between the kitchen nook & the bedroom was warped, creating a potential safety hazard and making it easy to lose your footing.
The bathroom lacked proper ventilation, and the sink was not clean. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable, and the pillowcases were so thin they were nearly transparent. The television in the bedroom was positioned in a way that made it difficult to watch, with no practical way to adjust its angle for better viewing.
The café was completely closed when I arrived, which was frustrating and unexpected. Additionally, the wall near the room entrance was literally crumbling, with debris scattered on the floor.
To make matters worse, days after my stay, I was denied reward points simply because I booked through Booking.com rather than paying a higher rate directly through the hotel’s website. My deposit has also been held for well over a week with no explanation beyond “that’s our policy.”
The hotel itself was not easy to access, and the parking situation was inconvenient. For a suite costing over $300, I honestly felt taken advantage of. By the time I finally settled in, there were already so many issues that I didn’t even bother reporting them during my stay. Looking back, I wish I had..
I will not be staying here again, and I certainly won’t be recommending it to anyone. Good luck to future guests.
Breakfast was good and they keep things on the line.
What I didn't like is that in my brother's room, the toilet was clogged. We called down to the desk, they called us back, said they could not find a plunger, it would have to wait til morning. So we had to go out and buy a plunger. I know that when I worked at a Holiday Inn, we had maintenance 24 hours a day. I find that a little odd that a toilet issue was put on hold. I also feel as much as you pay for a room Breakfast should be included.
We enjoyed the size of the room. Having two children with and ourselves it was nice space for all of us.
Very disappointed that the restaurant was closed. It was partially the reason I booked. After traveling all day not having to leave for dinner would have been nice.
This is a great location hotel across the street from basketball and football stadiums. However the attached restaurant has very limited hours and poor service . Room wa fine clean and a bit small. TV's were nice staff was fine.
