Disappointed
Pros:

Nothing, we didn’t get a room because our dog is bigger than their ridiculous maximum size of just 15 lbs. Don’t say “pet friendly“ and then discriminate against 2/3rds of all dogs. Especially if the size isn’t available until you walk into the lobby.

Cons:

Besides not getting a room, the amount of fire ant hills in the grassy areas surrounding the hotel, made it literally unsafe to walk or take your pet to relieve itself. Being advertised as “pet friendly “ doesn’t seem to fit.

Pros:

Decent hotel for a one night stay

Cons:

Town was very busy alot of traffic kind of a pain to get to the hotel. They have not responsible for damage or theft to vehicle signs everywhere. Which tells me they have or have had problems with that. I could barely understand the front desk lady that checked me in and she seemed frustrated about that. I would recommend to stop before or after Jasper AL if at all possible.

The front desk staff was good. Very efficient and friendly. This is the only person we saw.

Cons:

The lighting in the lobby and especially the breakfast area was really poor.

The breakfast was not to inspiring. I would rate it below other places we stayed on our travels (Hamptonn Inn, Fairfield, etc. Also, the price was higher than the other hotels we stayed at. Not sure why Jasper is higher than other locations (both large and smaller cities)

The personal at front desk has very nice

Cons:

Even though personal at front desk has very nice but it was her 2nd day working and she needed help she call her boss but boss didn't answer and ignored her her call the second time

Pros:

Our room had a bit of a musty smell - and there was a portable dehumidifier in the room, though it was not plugged in. The room was clean but some of the furnishings were clearly dated (a few minor scuffs).

Pros:

What’s funny is we had the opposite experience two nights before. The staff couldn’t care less about the fact that they didn’t have anything we needed. The AC worked well though. Other than that, it was ROUGH.
