كل شي اعجبني وخاصة طاقم العمل اللطيفين جدا واللوبي كان جميل والفندق آمن ويبعد عن السنتر تقريبا 30 دقيقة سيرا بالأقدام وجميع المرافق جميلة ويوجد مصعدين وخدمة حمل الحقائب والفطور كان جيد ومناسب

Location was very good. Besides that I didnt love the hotel.

This was my first experience visiting Spain, and unfortunately, this hotel was the most disappointing of the three hotels we stayed at during our trip.
Although the room was not necessarily dirty, it had a strong, unpleasant musty odor that made our stay uncomfortable. The smell was particularly noticeable in the closet. It was evident that the hotel is outdated and in need of significant renovations, especially considering the price charged.
Even more disappointing was the customer service, which fell far below reasonable expectations. With the exception of one gentleman originally from Santo Domingo, who was genuinely kind and helpful in assisting us with taxis, our interactions with the staff were consistently difficult and unsatisfactory.
The most unacceptable incident occurred on our final night, when the air conditioning in our room stopped working. We repeatedly called the front desk for assistance, but no one answered. We were left without the ability to resolve the issue or receive assistance from hotel staff. We reported the problem at checkout, yet no one acknowledged our complaint or offered any explanation, apology, or resolution.
We paid over $1,800 for a five-night stay, and the experience did not come close to justifying that cost. While we understand that unexpected problems can occur, what makes this situation particularly frustrating is that the hotel failed to respond when we needed assistance and did not address the issue when we reported it.
Given that the air conditioning was not functioning on our final night and that our attempts to contact the front desk went unanswered, I believe a refund for that night is a fair and reasonable resolution. We paid for a comfortable hotel stay with basic amenities and access to assistance when needed, and that expectation was not met.
I respectfully request that management review this complaint and issue a refund for the final night of our stay.

Klassiek hotel, niet te groot. Goed gemoderniseerd en opvallend schoon. Goede sfeer. Goed ontbijt. Goede ligging naast het paleis. Behulpzaam personeel. Taxiservice naar airport € 33,- vaste prijs. Aanrader.

Pros:

Schoon en vlak bij centrum. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam maakte ontbijttasjes omdat we voor 7 uur in de taxi moesten zitten. Wel eind van Ifema voor werk maar met taxi op tijd weg 25 minuten en na beurs kan je nog Madrid beleven lopend .
