Loud noise from the street early in the morning, waking up before 6 a.m. Strong and disturbing smell of chemistry in the room (either something for cleaning or insect repellent).

The location was central, the room was big enough, the staff at the reception was kind and the breakfast was very good.
The staff at the breakfast room was impolite, though the breakfast was substantial I felt uncomfartable due to the rude behaviour of the serving staff. The internet was not working during the night time, I didnt know why. The bed was not very comfortable.
The hotel is in a safe area of Brussels, on Avenue Louise, and presents itself as well-appointed, with large rooms, marble and golden details in the bathroom, but it feels a bit dated. The room was clean and comfortable, but the stairs leading to the rooms are narrow and uncomfortable, and the lift is small and feels a little unreliable. However, the staff are very friendly and always ready to help when you need it.
It takes me about half an hour on foot to reach the Albert Borschette Congress Centre and the same to the city centre. However, I didn’t feel very safe walking alone at night from the Grand Place back to the hotel, so I would recommend using Uber or the metro.
