Il Super 8 by Wyndham San Francisco / Union Square Area, situato in O'Farrell Street, offre camere spaziose e bagni grandi e funzionali. Gli ambienti interni sono accessoriati con TV e zona con angolo caffè e bollitore, e letti dotati di cuscini molto grandi (per chi li preferisce sottili, un piccolo trucco è aprirli leggermente per regolarne l'imbottitura). Il rapporto qualità-prezzo si conferma buono in relazione alla posizione centrale, pur considerando che al check-in viene richiesto un deposito cauzionale di 100 dollari a camera, rimborsabile alla partenza. La struttura rappresenta un'ottima base per muoversi a piedi durante il giorno, raggiungendo in pochi minuti Union Square e i Cable Car.
Trovandosi ai margini del quartiere Tenderloin, l'area circostante può presentare situazioni di degrado urbano e una forte presenza di senzatetto, specialmente la sera, rendendo necessaria un po' di attenzione. Si segnala inoltre l'assenza di un parcheggio privato. Non c'è nè frigo nè forno a microonde.

La zona è centrale ma lungo la strada sono presenti molti senza tetto.
La zona della colazione non disponeva di abbastanza tavoli per tutti, abbiamo dovuto aspettare prima di trovare un tavolo libero.
Nella stanza c’era un cattivo odore.
The location is strategic, well connected to everything. Facilities are clean and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is not as i was thinking it would be but not bad either.
The location is strategic BUT the street is full of homeless and drugged people. If you go south one road in Ellis st you really wouldn't feel secure.

Good location nearby everything. Breakfast included
The room was comfortable and clean although the lift was a bit grimy.

Very good, clean rooms. Breakfast was basic, but for the money it is definitely ok. Staff were great as well!
The only issue is the neighbourhood, especially in the evening, but apart from that it is an excellent hotel.
