Great location but let down by the ongoing refurbishment and leaking roofs

Excellent location.

Cons:

Undergoing refurbishment - not advised of this. I had to change room on my last night due to the roof leaking, they did have torrential downpours that day but you don’t expect a hotel of this standard to have a leaky roof. Whilst they were happy to allocate a new room, no one offered to assist with the packing up and moving all my luggage

Zwak wifi signaal, viel steeds weg
Douchen in bad
Lastig per auto bereikbaar. De aanwijzingen die we van het hotel kregen leidden ons naar afsluitingen.

Inmejorable situación, hotel cómodo y servicios de calidad.
Pros:

Situación inmejorable, en el centro histórico de la ciudad.
Zonas comunes excelentes. Habitaciones muy cómodas y limpias. Desayuno variado y de calidad. Personal muy amable y servicial.

Cons:

Instalaciones en renovación. Habitación interior a patio de manzana, sin vistas y con ruido de obras.

Modernes Stadthotel in perfekter Lage mit üppigem Frühstücksbüffet. Gut für ein bis zwei Nächte.
Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt, nahe dem Bahnhof wie auch dem Stadtzentrum gelegen. Der Empfang war freundlich, die Betten komfortabel, das Frühstück fabelhaft: große Auswahl, Büffet bis zuletzt nachgefüllt.

Cons:

Unser Economic-Zimmer lag im 6. Stock. Der Weg vom Lift zum Zimmer war lang, kahl, verwinkelt, muffig, extrem renovierungsbedürftig. Zwar gibt es Schilder, die eine Renovierung ankündigen, doch waren keinerlei Anzeichen dafür erkennbar. Das Zimmer war winzig, nicht ganz sauber und ebenfalls alt und abgewohnt. Alles in starkem Kontrast zur eleganten Lobby.

Die Betten sind hervorragend. Wir lieben unseren jährlichen Aufenthalt im Slon.

Cons:

Leider haben wir das Zimmer zum Innenhof bekommen. Hier fehlte jegliche Aussicht. Leider haben wir das nicht vorher gecheckt. Das nächste Mal werden wir darauf achten.
