I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. It's a bit disappointing that there is no water or notepads and pens in the room anymore. You are directed to get water in a judge but that's not always easy when arriving late at night. I guess that is due to cut backs. The Talbot is a very busy business hotel. I had room service the first night as I arrived late. The options for vegetarians on the menu are not great - Margharita pizza. When I asked for something different I was told they could do a veg curry which was nice but lacked vegetables! The next day at lunch I had to have the same as it was the only option for the work event I was attending. At coffee break other groups tried to take our catering in the Merrion Lounge and I had to turn 5 people away. A sign was put up for the afternoon break. For such a busy hotel this is needed every time. Michelle and Jean are a pleasure to deal with and my hotel room was perfect. Overall a good event and stay but room for improvement.
Having just moved house we arrived for our stay in the Talbot Stillorgan exhausted! We felt the relaxed warm atmosphere immediately and it was the beginning of our lovely stress free week. The staff are so friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble! The breakfast was gorgeous, as was the food in The Brass Bar and Grill. The bedroom was cleaned immaculately which made us feel very comfortable. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough! Thank you all so much for everything.

We were staying for a concert with our two children. I have been staying in the Talbot since I was a child anytime we are in Dublin and every time we feel so welcomed. They had sweets and apple juice left out for our children on arrival which they loved!
We had a very comfortable stay! My only complaint was the window was screwed shut but the A/C quickly sorted out the heat in the room.
A great hotel that embraces family’s and ensures the children feel special.
Lovely decor. Colour scheme.
Very friendly staff
Terrible tea . Could do with upgrading the tea bag quality.
so clean
loved everything
Reception welcoming and helpful, room exceeded expectations, bar and restaurant warm and lively. Enjoyed live music.
Good value. Will recommend and return.
The only person who was awful was Bala or Bama... Everyone else was lovely!
Room was so spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Staff on check in was very friendly and there is a gorgeous smell once you enter the revolving door.
Nothing . Fab hotel
Petit dejeuner varié, mais pourrait etre un peu plus qualitatif.
The staff were particularly friendly and helpful.
Nice bedroom , a complimentary extra hour to checkout. Breakfast was nice.
No Trolly to help with bags, staff at breakfast were rude and made comments about the amount of food I was eating , by saying 'more' in front of other customers and made me feel bad for asking for more scrambled eggs , I did not know it was limited. On leaving I want to get help with bags 3 times but no reply and had to struggle with carrying them on my own. Shower curtain smelt dirty and not good. One member of staff in Brass was rude also spoke in an accusatory manner about me staying there and demanded my room number , made me feel bad so I left and ate somewhere more welcoming.
Nice, big room. Comfortable bed.
