The staff were so polite, accommodating and discreet. What a location, what a view and the food was served by happy, helpful and knowledgeable staff. The spa is quiet and secluded and Sylvia who applied the grounding oil massage was brilliant. Thank you all for my wonderful time with you.
Nothing.
We visited recently to celebrate an anniversary. As always we had a lovely stay and experienced excellent service. We stayed in a Junior Suite for the first time which was really lovely. The spa is lovely and quiet - a great place to relax and the food is excellent
What an amazing place , excellent service , great staff , truely 5 star experience ,stunning decor and yet still felt homely , beautiful suite with lovely personal touches , every minor detail thought of , anything you might need at your finger tips , our dog was treat like a king , The best breakfast i have had anywhere in the world, enjoyed every second 2 nights wasnt enough just cant wait to return
Lovely hotel. Fantastic room (Jane Austin Suit).
Staff were brilliant, location was fantastic.
The Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa is a truly special place and the spa alone makes it worth the stay. Tucked away in a beautifully restored Georgian bath house, the spa feels calm, private, and thoughtfully designed.
The facilities include a heated relaxation pool, vitality pool with massage jets, sauna, and steam room, all flooded with natural light and overlooking peaceful gardens. Everything feels intimate and unrushed, with robes and amenities provided so you can fully relax.
Treatments are excellent. Therapists are professional, attentive, and clearly very experienced. The massages and facials are deeply relaxing without feeling generic, and the use of high quality Temple Spa products really stands out.
What makes this spa special is the atmosphere. It is refined, quiet, and elegant without being intimidating. While it is not a large spa, the size adds to the sense of escape and exclusivity.
If you are visiting Bath and want a luxurious, tranquil spa experience in a historic setting, this is easily one of the best options in the city.
Have always wanted to stay here. The Christmas decorations were amazing and the staff were all lovely. Decent spa and fantastic food and location

An oasis of calm in the middle of bath with a wonderful restaurant. The tasting menu was superb. The. sommelier with charming and very informative.
We liked everything. The hotel facilities are of a high standard, and the staff helpful and welcoming. The breakfasts are excellent, as is the restaurant food in the evening. The spa was lovely, just wish that we'd picked up that there is a gym as well as a pool there. We had a treatment each, a little pricey but very very good.
There is a concierge parking service but this is only included in the price if the room is booked directly with the hotel. Fair enough as the deal for the 2 nights was good. But, we didn't know this until we arrived at the hotel. The cost of the parking is £35 per day. There is no on street parking so the only other option is a local car park 5-10 minutes away. This didn't spoil our stay but it would have been better to know about the charge beforehand.
Staff were on the whole v friendly with the odd exception . The suite was spacious and the bed was very large and comfortable. The water was hot and the bathroom was very clean and well appointed.
When we arrived the suite was extremely cold and the heating had obviously not been put on before our arrival. Even with the heating on it required 2 oil filled radiators to make the rooms warm enough. This was a very expensive suite that I booked for my husband's birthday - he is currently undergoing cancer treatment and I wanted everything to be perfect which unfortunately was not the case.
Our stay here was nothing short of sensational. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location, close to the centre of Bath. The staff were attentive from start to finish - we brought our dog and young baby and they provided dog bowls/bed/treats and baby toys/cot. The food was brilliant. The spa was perfect and is open until 9pm, so we were able to take it in turns to go after the baby had gone to bed. It’s obviously not a cheap hotel but is also one of the best that we’ve ever stayed in
Building itself, decoration , gardens etc

Stayed at the Royal Crescent Hotel for our wedding anniversary and had a lovely break.
We both loved the spa area, we had a lovely meal from A La Carte Menu in the evening and also breakfast was very good.
The service from the moment we arrived until the moment we left we first class (Especially the service for Dinner and again at Breakfast)
Definitely our new favourite place to stay in Bath and will definitely be back.
