the bar and resturant service was really poor - the food was poorly prepared and limited. The staff seemed to lack any form of hospitality skills
the breakfast was also well below standard - two dried pieces of gluten free bread are not what you expect for the price that was charged. No more was forthcoming despite requests.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, das Zimmer war sehr abgewohnt und sehr hellhörig. Man hört die Türen der anderen Zimmer, teilweise auch die Stimmen. Unser Zimmer grenzte an einen Serviceraum, der morgens um 6.30 Uhr stark frequentiert wurde. Die Tür knarzte sehr stark und wurde ständig geöffnet und auch wieder geschlossen.
Es gab ein warmes und ein kaltes Frühstück ohne jede Abwechslung. Das geschnittene Obst sah nicht immer lecker aus.

After checking out we went to the restaurant for something to eat before our taxi to the airport arrived. It took about 15 - 20 minutes to be served, the floor manager at the time.. went by us serval times before eventually a female staff member from the other side of the restaurant served us. The food in the restaurant was very good but the service could be better.

Very noisy one night as there was a wedding we didn’t know about. Paid for breakfast, and was told there was a vegetarian option. Every morning we were told they had no hot vegetarian options, and would have them tomorrow - to not have them the next day.

Schlechte Organisation beim Frühstück.

The room was larger than expected, although the bunk bed was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. The staff were superb, but unfortunately the overall condition of the property was disappointing. There was a general sense of disarray and lack of cleanliness, despite the room smelling pleasant.

Most of the issues came down to poor maintenance and attention to detail. Several lights in the room were not working properly, and the bathroom only had two very dim lights. There was no ventilation whatsoever and, although the room was advertised as air-conditioned, there was only an electric fan stored inside the wardrobe.

Another issue was the flooring inside the rooms, which was extremely noisy to walk on, constantly creaking and bending underfoot. Since we were staying on the ground floor, this was not much of an issue for anyone below us, apart from perhaps the neighbouring rooms.

The bathroom door was damaged at the bottom, and the carpet in the corridor outside the rooms was visibly stained. On top of that, many guests left trays, cutlery, and other rubbish directly on the corridor floor, which added even more to the overall feeling of disorder.

The pool itself was nice, but once again there were several issues that should be addressed. There was a strong smell of menthol throughout the area, the filters did not appear to be clean, the shower dispensers were empty, and one of the shower cubicles had screws sticking out where the closing mechanism was missing. Altogether, it gave the impression of a facility in need of proper maintenance.

The food prices at the bar also did not reflect the quality or variety of the menu. Paying £18 for a simple chicken burger with fries, plus £4 for a very small Diet Pepsi, does not really encourage guests to dine there.

Breakfast was acceptable, but again rather average in terms of quality. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing really stood out either. And for £17 per person was a little bit pricey.

Quality of the room and standard of cleanliness

Biju lūgusi divas atsevišķas vienguļamās gultas. Tas nebija. Bija aizmirsuši numuriņā ievietot bērnu gultiņu, naktī to vairs nevarēja izdarīt. Dušā šampūna vietā bija ūdens.

The gym. Awful. Dirty, tiny, and equipment is way past its best. Smelt terrible. How and why anyone would pay to be a member of that gym is beyond me. Worst gym I have ever used.

Nothing! Fitted my needs and budget perfectly. Will consider staying here next trip.
