Felt very welcome
Pros:

Great welcome at reception. Every member of staff always made an effort to speak to you no matter what the time of day.Stayed for a couple of nights over our wedding anniversary and they made sure we felt special

Quiet hotel right on the beach, delicious breakfast, retro charm.
Pros:

We loved our stay here, though this isn’t a luxury hotel. It’s right on the beach, and I’d made an error in our dates and asked for an upgrade as we didn’t stay one of the nights we paid for. They gave us a balcony oceanfront room on the main floor, which had a covered balcony. We liked it so much we added another night. The view is lovely. The hotel is from the 1960’s - they even have the same bamboo rockers my mother in law had in her 1960’s Minnesota home. The furnishings are from then too. I found it charming, with retro personality but that’s not everyone’s taste. I liked the “historic” nature of the hotel. It’s a narrow building, so every room overlooks the ocean, but only some have balconies. We are 2 dinners and 3 breakfasts in the lovely tree-canopied patio. We really enjoyed the food and the selection. The front desk staff was very pleasant as was the restaurant staff - in our two weeks in Sicily, their waiters were the nicest (even though I asked for Parmesan on my clam spaghetti, knowing cheese and fish is a faux pas in Italy.) We love quiet and this hotel had it. We swam in the ocean in early November and enjoyed the beach. Taormina was too touristy for our tastes, so we appreciated being in the area but away from the crowds. Appreciated the parking lot and that the hotel is right on the beach, with the road behind.

Cons:

The bathroom is very small and dated. The shower doors make it hard not to get water on the floor. A kettle would be nice.

Pros:

Prachtig hotel waar de pracht en praal van de vroege jaren werd behouden en geëerd. Je waant je een reis terug in de tijd, de luxe van weleer. Dat alles in een prachtig kader, vlak aan zee. Je opent het raam en je kan de zonsopgang zien vlak voor je in zee. Tijdens het heerlijke ontbijt op het terras met zicht op zee zit je onder een dak van bomen die met de jaren één geheel gevormd hebben. Heel gezellig en stijlvol!
