Just “ok”. I would likely advise others traveling to consider other options.
Pros:

The location was great. It was very convenient and walkable to shops, restaurants, and wineries.

Cons:

It was not well maintained. Furniture was worn and a bit tattered. We had to move rooms after 1 night due to a broken and unfixable door lock. There was not anything that made you feel like you were staying in a “luxury” hotel.

We had a great stay and intend to return
Pros:

This is a great hotel with loads of character, excellent staff and a nice mix of facilities in a quiet area right in the centre of the city. The layout is not straightforward but the staff make everything seamless. The secure level parking is in a courtyard (of course). Lots of nearby dining options.

Magical stay at Le Cep
Pros:

Wonderful experience, truly memorable.
After driving 7 hours slipped into one of the parking spots at the front of this beautiful hotel.
We were greeted by Antoine (a true professional) on the door who summarily parked my car in a secure car place and took our bags to our room.
We then sat at the bar where Leo the barman prepared us a well earned drink before moving to the restaurant where we had a delicious meal, well priced and really tasty.
Our room was stunning and water pressure the best I have had.
Breakfast was calm and relaxed, we chose from a buffet and then offered bacon and eggs or basically anything we wanted, I had bacon and scrambled eggs which were cooked to perfection.
The hotel is a gem to which we will 100% return in the summer.
Thanks so much to the team at Le Cep for a truly memorable night and service. 10/10.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Beaune
Pros:

Loved the buildings and the room. The chairs at breakfast were a little bit low for us. We hope to return in the future.
