Breakfast was very good
Staff were friendly
There was nothing to complain about
Have stayed many times-a well run hotel that has deteriorated. Food disappointed- small xchoice on the main menus- breakfast not very tasty fruit ver dry on the buffet.staff good especially the porters and reception.
Menus very small choice.
I visited the spa and was booked in for The Biome Repair Facial. The spa manager Sarah was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when making my booking as to what treatment would suit me. My therapist Karen who did the treatment was excellent, she talked me through the whole treatment and made me feel extremely comfortable as someone who has never had a spa treatment before. I came out of it feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Would highly recommend for people going solo or with others!
My Mam & myself had Mothers Day Brunch in the Bloom Room & it was such a relaxing, friendly & wonderful experience. The staff couldn’t be more helpful & nothing was a problem & always with a smile. Absolutely loved our special day 🙏🥰
Location—Excellent, easy enough to get to from the city and into the city.
Atmosphere - Calm, serene, and welcoming.
Rooms - Stayed in a Manor King, which was extremely spacious; the bathroom was a good size too with a tub.
Value - Booked on short notice, so paid more than would normally be the case with planning, but still felt good value though.
Cleanliness - Extremely clean hotel.
Noise Level - Serene; no noise to speak of.
Service - First Class, from the moment you arrive, the reception, to anything needed, and on departure also.
Amenities - We didn't use the amenities but certainly would have with a longer stay.
We stayed for one evening as a first night away from a young baby. We were incredibly well looked after and could not want for anything, and as I made it known to the hotel beforehand that I was planning to propose, they provided a nice bonus congratulations chocolate display & card after the event. We are certainly planning to go back for another night or two in the future. It's the best hotel experience in Cork, having lived in the area for over 15 years and having stayed in the city frequently for work / events.
I would like to thank all the hotel staff. Very hospitable at the reception, spotlessly clean room, delicious food, high level of service. All this made my stay incredible. The breakfast was wonderful: beautiful decoration, exclusive herbs and drinks, amazing atmosphere created an unforgettable atmosphere. I especially want to mention Daria from the reception. She created a truly royal welcome for me! Thank you all for a wonderful time at your hotel!
MARYNA
Probably the best service I have had in a hotel to date… the staff were amazing… the rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable…. Lovely massage in the spa as well. The reasons I have given this a good and not an excellent…. Firstly the spa is not really what you would expect from a 5 star hotel amenities wise….. and secondly the standard of the food lets it down slightly. Breakfast was excellent , dinner only ok…. Overall though we had a lovely relaxing break…..
The staff were attentive and charming
We only stayed one night
We had a lovely relaxing two night stay. Beautiful room and bathroom with nice view out to the garden. All the staff that we encountered were very friendly and attentive. We had dinner one evening which was very good with a lovely menu. Breakfast was also very good and you could relax and linger over coffee, no need to rush. Pool very nice with lovely outdoor jacuzzi. Looking forward to returning again.
We had a great family dinner marking a special day. The service was amazing from the door man to the restaurant team. The food was divine. Definitely one to do again
Lovely stay. Staff were so courteous and welcoming and everything was done to such a high standard. Just one thing of note was the bed and pillows have see better days there was a dip on the bed and pillows were very very soft. It’s not something I usually take any notice of but was very aware of it this time.
I visited the spa recently for a facial and was generally very happy with the experience. Laura my therapist on the day was exceptional in her manner and skill. I did notice however that the 'manhole' tiling in the bathroom was very chipped and cracked and some of the pool tiles were well worn . The shower was impossible to turn on and I needed to ask for help .It's the little things that matter I. A 5 star so attention to details needed .
Everything was fabulous highly recommend to all
Amazing food as usual, lovely staff.
Would definitely recommend
We were at Hayfield Manor for a special birthday lunch for my son, and it was perfect. The 'Happy Birthday' fruit platter at the end of the meal was a lovely touch.
Hotel and location are brilliant. Short walk into the city. If there was 6 stars I'd give it to the staff. Everyone was so helpful and went out of their way to make our stay extra special
Greeted by lovely concierge with umbrella so I wouldn't get wet. EV was parked and charged for us. Lovely drink while checking in. Everything was quick and easy. Dinner at the bar was fabulous. Cocktails in garden bar were pricey but worth it! Can't wait to come back for 2 nights and sample the pool and spa. One night was not long enough!
The staff are very welcoming and incredibly helpful.
The rooms are spotless.
Service in the breakfast restaurant and the bar is of a very high standard.
The facilities in the spa area are very good.
The array of breakfast food is wonderful but I would look for an alternative source for the breakfast sausages!
