Erholsame, schöne und Zeit zum entspannen.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Trotz Autobahn in der Nähe sehr ruhig. Der Park und Wellness Bereich ist super. Das Personal sehr freundlich.

We enjoyed our stay. Wanted to come back in summer but we don't think we will.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable. The closet lacked a tall enough space to hang dresses. Everything was very clean and well-appointed. The room was on the 1st floor and looked over the roof of an extension--so a limited view of the mountains. The breakfast was wonderful.

Cons:

We found the staff to be hit or miss. We had a couple of wonderful staff members at breakfast and dinner. But at least for two mornings, the staff was very rude and impatient. It was almost like we were a nuisance. This actually made us dislike the breakfast experience in spite of the lovely setting and great food. When my partner asked a staff member for a cup of coffee, she was told curtly to wait as he was busy with something else.

Gut und praktisch mit Hund; Preis für Hund jedoch viel zu hoch!

Wie immer, gute und saubere Zimmer; ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.

Cons:

Eigentümer-Familie unfreundlich, d.h. Wenn sie sich schon im Speisesaal aufhalten, sollten sie zumindest die zahlende Gesellschaft grüssen und der beste „Parkplatz“ gilt als selbstverständlich sie reserviert! Grundsätzlich gilt „der Kunde ist König“; hier aber gelten andere Regeln. Während der Umbauphase könnte man mehr Fingerspitzengefühl zeigen!!!

Disappointing for a 4 star hotel and wish we had booked one of the other options at a better price in Ascona

Location is good and garden/pool area are beautiful, good massage

Cons:

Serious lack of attention to detail and staff who don’t care at this aging hotel in need of a major overhaul. The bathroom was not cleaned properly once, no conditioner, cheap & watery body lotion, hair dryer that exploded while using, low dribble from faucet, sad foam pillows and a 1/4” thin ‘comforter’, noise from bar below late night, whining/howling dog for several days, which staff didn’t do anything about, no receptionist to get keys at 10:10 Pm, instead a local phone number to call a night guard, outlets by outdoor seating not working ( were told they haven’t worked in 60 years), forgotten booking at Spa plus a 250 Sfr fee for a 2 hour late checkout (which we declined) didn’t make for an enjoyable weeklong stay.

Magnifique expérience, détente.
Pros:

J’ai adoré mon séjour ! Le petit-déjeuner généreux, varié et avec des produits de qualité.
J’ai particulièrement apprécié les installations — piscine, spa et salle de sport — impeccables et très agréables, parfaites pour se détendre pleinement.
Le cadre est juste magnifique : calme, entouré de nature, idéal pour se ressourcer et faire de superbes balades. On s’y sent vraiment bien. Ascona et Locarno a proximité.
Merci au personnel, adorable, toujours disponible et très professionnel ,j’y retournerai avec grand plaisir.

Wunderschöne Region und freundliche Mitarbeiter, aber furchtbare Betten
Pros:

- Freundliche Hotelmitarbeiter
- Lage (zwischen Locarno und Ascona, sodass beides durch eine 5 minütige Busfahrt zu erreichen war.
- Guter ÖV- Anschluss
- Kleines, aber schönes SPA

Cons:

- Die Betten waren furchtbar! Es fühlte sich an, wie auf einem prall aufgeblasenen Ball zu liegen und trotz unseres Wunsches, ein grosses Bett zu bekommen, erhielten wir zwei Einzelbetten mit einem grossen Spalt in der Mitte. Wir haben daher in diesen vier Tagen kaum geschlafen.
- Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar gross und schön präsentiert, für vegan essende Leute ist die Auswahl aber sehr klein.
