Hotel Lisboa Plaza, a Lisbon Heritage Collection

Spent 4 nights here. Hotel is in a good convenient location. Breakfast had a good selection to choose from and the 24hrs complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge is a nice touch. In the room there was a wireless phone charger and an adapter which was useful. The rooms are dated but very clean, AC very quiet which is good. Only negative was the room had a strange strong chemical smell ( we opened the windows as it wasn’t so hot and didn’t need the AC but in the summer may not be an option)

Excellent hotel, right in the heart of Lisbon. Clean and comfortable bedrooms well maintained by housekeeping team, friendly and welcoming reception staff. The communal lounge areas down stairs and the bar are really comfortable and stylish. Alfama and parque commercial only a short walk away. We will definately be back.

Hotel Lisboa Plaza is an elegant atmosphere with the warmth of home. The staff is everything you might want and then some. The location is close to Metro and steps away from their ‘upper East side’…

We stayed at Hotel Lisboa Plaza during our visit to Lisbon and had a very pleasant experience.

The location is one of the hotel’s biggest advantages. It sits just off Avenida da Liberdade, so you’re close to the main sights while still enjoying a calm and elegant neighbourhood.

The rooms are quite spacious by Lisbon standards, comfortable and nicely decorated. One thing I genuinely appreciated was the thoughtful amenities in the room — plenty of charging ports and even wireless charging, which is surprisingly rare but extremely useful when travelling.

The interior of the hotel has a classic boutique charm, with beautifully decorated common areas that feel welcoming rather than overly formal.

Breakfast is served until noon, which is perfect if you want to start the day slowly. The buffet was very good quality and tasty, though the selection remains mostly the same each day. Still, it was something we looked forward to every morning.

Another lovely feature is the large guest lounge with complimentary tea and coffee available 24 hours, a great space to sit and relax after a day of sightseeing.

A particularly kind gesture from the staff was sending us a complimentary bottle of wine for a birthday, which was unexpected and very thoughtful.

Overall, a charming boutique hotel with great service, comfortable rooms and an excellent location. We would definitely consider staying here again when returning to Lisbon.

In March of 2025, my husband and I stayed at this perfectly located, lovely boutique hotel for the third time in two years! As always, the room was cozy and immaculate, the breakfast was outstanding, the rooftop terrace was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. And because this was our third visit, the management surprised us with a bottle of champagne on ice accompanied by assorted nuts left in our room with a thoughtful note. This was truly above and beyond; we have never experienced such a generous and kind gesture in a hotel anywhere in the world, and we deeply appreciated it! Whenever we are in Lisbon, we will stay at this fabulous hotel. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Hotel is situated perfectly for Lisbon center, typically Iberian in it's style. Was obviously a fantastic hotel in it's day but like us all it's showing it's age a little but that doesn't really detract from the experience.
The staff went well and beyond and could not have been more helpful whilst the rooms were relatively large with a decent well functioning ensuite.
Certainly would recommend for a little weekend get away.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lisboa Plaza. Staff all very friendly, comfortable beds, great location and very easy to get to from airport via metro. The availability of the lounge was a nice added bonus, with tea available at all hours and a nice place to relax outside the room after sightseeing. Breakfast also excellent with staff very attentively refilling food/kettles. Would definitely return to this hotel if returning to Lisbon!

We stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful hotel. The location is perfect, central but quiet. All of the staff that we met were excellent, friendly, helpful & efficient - couldn't ask for more. The hotel itself has loads of character with lovely lounges & bar & it is all spotlessly clean. The cherry on the top was a fantastic buffet breakfast with high quality food that is continually topped up. Overall an excellent experience & hope to return.

There is really only one thing that makes a great hotel. An outstanding staff. Based on this criteria, this hotel is one of the greatest I have had the pleasure to enjoy. The front desk staff was consistently very helpful. The housekeeping staff was always pleasant. The barkeeper was prompt with his service. Our room was perfect. A king size bed was what we were hoping for and that is what we got. I loved the large bath towels. The location turned out to be perfect as well. After this wonderful experience, this is the only hotel I would consider for Lisbon.

We have stayed here before and was pleased with everything so we decided to stay again. The hotel is lovely, very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is delicious, plenty of choice and a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are great and very hard working. Location is on a quiet side street off the main avenue and around a 20-30 minute walk to the riverfront.

We had a family room - it was immaculate and really spacious, the beds were so comfy with beautiful white bedding.
The location was great - a quiet street but close to everything you need in Lisbon within easy walking distance.
Lovely breakfast and tea/coffee making in the lounge 24/7. You can also request tea and coffee making in the room!
Bar food and drinks were good and very reasonable.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The breakfast is very good, fresh tasty food with loads of variety the selection of cakes and pastries are amazing. The hotel is a Heritage property, rooms are spacious and clean. They also have a nice lounge for relaxing overall a great stay. A special callout to Joāo from the receptionist team who acted as my local guide and helped us discover places not known to tourist these were amazing.

I've stayed for business in many hotels all over the world and I've forgotten nearly all of them. But hotel Plaza was such a nice experience that I feel like going back again for pleasure.

This was a special place to stay in Lisbon! My room was clean well appointed and spacious complete with a king sized bed. The front desk employees made me feel right at home and gave me great advice for restaurants, activities and assistance. Anna Carolina), Erica and Joao were gold star employees at reception. They could not have been friendlier for all 4 nights I stayed here. Because of them I will be a loyal customer. Breakfast offered wonderful selections and the complimentary afternoon wine served in the lovely lounges was wonderful after a day of sightseeing. I have travelled to over 75 countries and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Don’t think twice about staying here. Great location as well.

Just spend 4 nights here. Mainly as just somewhere to sleep as so much to do in Lisbon. But felt need to review as it was a lovely place. I booked a petit room. Small room, perfect for one, or two on a budget, but so much storage, so no ‘living out of a case”for several days, fridge with complimentary water, comfy bed, plenty plug sockets, including a multinational adaptor with usb port. Very clean. Very pleasant staff. Well stocked breakfast. Lots of places to sit inside hotel, would be ideal for small groups travelling together to congregate. Area feels safe for a solo female traveller. About 150 metres from a metro station, making it easy to get from airport (1 easy change).
