Ein traumhaft schönes Hotel
Pros:

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Vilalara Grand Hotel Algarve sehr genossen. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön, äusserst gepflegt und liegt traumhaft oberhalb des Meeres. Die grosszügige Gartenanlage, die herrliche Aussicht und die ruhige Atmosphäre machen diesen Ort zu etwas ganz Besonderem.
Auch das kulinarische Angebot hat uns begeistert. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, mit einer grossen Auswahl und hochwertigen Produkten. Ebenso haben wir die ausgezeichnete Küche in den Restaurants sowie das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal sehr geschätzt. Ein Hotel, in dem man sich rundum wohlfühlen und herrlich entspannen kann. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Cons:

Ein kleiner Hinweis: Die Wege innerhalb der weitläufigen Anlage sind grossenteils mit Pflastersteinen versehen und etwas uneben. Für ältere Gäste oder Menschen, die nicht mehr so gut zu Fuss sind, könnte dies eine Herausforderung darstellen.

Italian at the bar was outstanding. She is one of a kind. The way she treated us and helped my husband locate his drin

Property is beautiful

Cons:

Distance from lobby to rooms a bit far. A gold cart would be ideal. Only a small garbage in the bathroom. I found that inconvenient. Room is very spacious.

Pros:

Beautiful property. Big gym. Pretty beach. Good food. Farm to table restaurant was a highlight of our stay!

Cons:

If you are a couple without children, you won’t be able to have a relaxing holiday here. It is, basically, a children’s camp. All pools are full of either screaming children or teenagers playing ball and being loud. They have 3 pool areas and none of those are quiet / adults only. We spent three nights and were not able to find a quiet place during this time. Also, they assigned us a room facing the biggest kids pool … Where is a common sense to give this room to a couple! Had to change rooms. Beach was polluted and impossible to swim. If you don’t go early in the morning you won’t be able to secure a bed by the beach or the pool. People are allowed to smoke in the beds by the beach. So if you are not a smoker you have to suffer your neighbors.
