Cons:

Not told that streaming was available. Shower floor did not drain properly. Breakfast tables were all wobbly. Air conditioning in the room was above our heads. Bathroom exhaust was broken and dirty

the interiors were nice and the grounds were well manicured

Cons:

The service was not up to what you would pay for. When we checked in there was no above and beyond service - just here’s your key and your room number. Hotel was very hot and stuffy. Breakfast was okay but if you wanted an omlette or poached eggs it was $15

Brilliant and charming Hotel that lives up to its reputation
Pros:

Stunning hotel beautifully restored. Elegant without being ostentatious.
Staff are exceptional as well.

I would stay again in future, I had a lovely time with my family. We enjoyed the beautiful fireplaces in the lounge area
Pros:

The hotel and grounds are beautiful, well maintained and very clean. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. It was warm and clean.

Cons:

There was nothing about the property that I didn’t like. I would just say the staff were lovely but the service was a little slow due to what seemed to be understaffed?. There was also some miscommunication in the spa area but this did not spoil our stay.

Pros:

I like the hotel in every way.

I could not sit around the fireplaces from 4.30pm becuase they had set it for 6pm dinner!!

A great location at Echo Point in Katoomba. An enjoyable anniversary getaway.
Pros:

Location of Lilianfels is great. New decor is clean and fresh.

Cons:

Breakfast buffet was good however, having to pay extra for eggs of an omelette was disappointing.
Dinner in the bar, service was exceptionally slow and overpriced for what you got. I think our order got lost. It took over an hour to get our meals.
No gym facilities.
