I enjoyed the convenience of being so close to downtown as well as only 10 minutes from the airport.
The bed was horrible it was like sleeping on a rock. Worst two nights of sleep I have had In ages.
The staff were friendly, the breakfast was really good! And the hot tub was nice!
Unfortunately someone walked into our room while we were changing, luckily we had the dead bolt on. The receptionist gave us a new room no questions asked. The next room was, like the last, pretty dingy. The coffee machine had a mold film on the inside water tank, the fridge wasn’t very cold, the books on the night stand were sticky, and the room kind of smelled like an old ymca.
Regardless, it was still a place to stay. But for $120 plus $10 parking, I was a little sad about it. The manager at the hotel left a kind message to us after our stay, once I left a prompted review on the hotel site. Hope this is a helpful review for anyone else traveling on a budget and looking for the cleanest and most cost effective place to stay!
I lived the staff!
Staff were great.
Our room sink was plugged, and the bathroom floor was dirty.
Quiet location, but very close to downtown. I like shopping/eating at Whole Foods that is about 2 miles away from this location. I can’t wait to visit again in warmer weather to visit the river walk!
The courtyard is pitch black when there is no moon. Doesn’t really work as a dog potty area when you can’t see anything. However, there are grass and trees surrounding the property that make for a nice walk.
The breakfast was basic continental. The eggs were good. There wasn’t a ton of options, but all bases were covered.
The lighting in the room was somewhat dim, although the lighting in the bathroom and around the sink was great.
The breakfast was horrible! NO PROTEIN except for some yogurt. The only thing hot was something that looked like gravy pig slop and oatmeal.
The room was stifling hot even after I turned the thermostat to the lowest setting. Tried to call the front desk & got a message it was an invalid option. I had to call on my phone. The guy came up and “reset” the thermostat, but at midnight I was still lying there on a godawful mattress in a stifling hot room!
Pet friendly and had a courtyard and pool
