Pros:

This was a quick overnighter and wow -I was pleasantly surprised. I honestly had low expectations for this hotel, as it is right downtown and just a plain building on a concrete parking lot. However, the staff member when we arrived was quite friendly and helpful. There was complimentary coffee, the lobby was clean, the halls were clean, our room was spotless and the beds/pillows were SO comfortable. (like what I expect at a high end hotel) Our room was quite spacious and the bathroom was as well and featured high end faucet and sink.
We received a $15 off for the in house restaurant and a gift chocolate bar with a note saying thanks for staying with us.
If needed we would stay here again.

Cons:

Perhaps complementary water would also be nice.

Connecting Door is Disappointing, Literally Hear the Next Door Guests, Overpriced and No Breakfast
Pros:

Good parking lot. Elevator requires a key card to get in so that's good security. McDonald's is beside the hotel so you could get breakfast and food. Area is nice.

Cons:

Overpriced and no breakfast! But they have free coffee, wow... The really bad part during this stay was that there was this connecting door in our room but it was locked. I'm assuming it's for when two parties who are staying who are staying in different hotel rooms but still want that access. I didn't care for the door though it was creepy and weird but later in the evening i overheard someone staying in that room having a conversation and normal sound. It was really invasive. On top of that we have little kids and I was constantly trying to quiet them down because I didn't want to annoy the people beside us. And it was all because of that stupid door. Luckily the newborn and toddler slept throughout the night but that was incredibly stressful. The hotel room itself was outdated.

The hotel remodel is just lovely. The workmanship is topnotch. The front desk staff was exceptional. We were always greeted with a smile, hello and 'how are you doing?'.

The location was great for what I needed, easy to drive out of town and walkable to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. I did not get time to try out the fitness room, hot tub or restaurant there.
