A nice easy visit full of fun and a comfortable place to stay.
Pros:

The staff are exceptional, the pool is a nice size, the food is great and the hotel is a lovely little quirky building with lots of tiny corridors, little staircases and the building has some beautiful features like the gorgeous rotating door and nice little verandah.

Cons:

Some of the rooms need a little love but all are very comfortable, the sheets are clean and comfortable and you have everything you need for a good stay, the staff also were quick to react to anything we needed additionally.

Pros:

Very tied Hotel well past it’s best.
Pros:

First impressions were not good entrance doors dirty and covered in finger marks. Upgraded executive room was tired and draughty with a cold draught blowing into the room via the window frame. Carpet had rust stains from the base of the rickety chairs.
When I checked in I asked the receptionist to check us in for breakfast the next morning, he asked what time we wanted breakfast so I left thinking (Incorrectly) that we had been booked in for breakfast.
My son came to dinner the bar attendant was also the head waiter and the duty manager (Faulty Towers came to mind)
A phone was placed on the bar to call for service. The service in the restaurant was very poor one young girl that obviously had not been trained in any restaurant discipline attended the floor and could not do anything. The barman / Head waiter / duty manager was flipping from area to area not really achieving to much the girl nervously took our order. The food arrived and was adequate. The overall service was shall we say very poor.
We went down in the morning for breakfast gave our room number and was told our booking was on a room only basis, We were made to feel as if we were trying to con a breakfast from the hotel. Despite arranging it with the receptionist on check in.
