Good experience all round will definitely use this hotel in the future
Pros:

Good value for money, friendly staff and excellent food. The hotel was clean and the facilities very good.

Cons:

The only thing we could find that could have improved our stay was that we didn’t have a fridge in our room.

Room was cosy, clean & spacious… Beds fresh & comfy… Best night sleep in a while.
Plenty of hot water & great towels.
Set in lovely grounds to sit & have drinks before dinner.
Definitely going back.
Excellent value for money.

Pros:

Had a big spacious Garden Room with Patio. Was a great room. Spa facilities were great too.

Cons:

Room could of done with a Hoover. We'd dragged in quite a lot of leaves/greenery on our boots, and it was still there the following day. I know at certain times of year it gets everywhere, but gave the Room an untidy look

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel, and found it, overall, to be very relaxing.
Pros:

room was great, with all the facilities we would need. The pool was lovely, the jacuzzi was a bit on the hot side, but enjoyable. The steam and sauna rooms were very good. Our meal in the evening was good. Staff on whole were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

breakfast costs - we went out to eat elsewhere this morning due to the costs - not great value for money - the quality wasn't there when we stayed before with food being quite dry and chewy.
Offered dinner in the bar with choice of menus - found bar staff somewhat distracted and chatting to each other so had to wait quite a while between finishing our meal and being offered dessert and further drinks, as they were also busy putting things away rather than customer service.

Relaxing and invigorating.
Pros:

Evening meal was great. Staff were very helpful. Space facilities were pretty good.

Cons:

Jacuzzi was too hot to bear, breakfast was below expected - dry and chewy bacon. I thought I'd paid for this with booking and found on checkout it wasn't. Definitely not worth £16.
Didn't ask for quiet room. Asked for ground floor and got 1st floor.

Bargain break with friends!
Pros:

The hotel is set in lovely grounds close to the station. The staff were lovely and the leisure facilities were good. Meal inclusion is a great deal!

If we stayed in the 1st room and there was no party i would be been a great stay / worth the money.
Pros:

The size of both rooms we had were good (we were moved due to noise). Staff in the restaurant were brilliant. Food differed in quality dep on the course (desserts were amazing!).

Cons:

The first room seemed more up to date / clean but there was a party that we CRAZY loud, and taking over the bar / bathrooms. We were then moved due to noise and the second room needed a refurb and a deep clean, the shower pressure was terrible and the room was unbearably hot.

Pros:

Swimming facilities were clean and in good order. The bar food was good value and there was plenty of choice. Same for breakfast- bread for toast was nice and thick. Staff went the extra mile by moving me to another room when the TV did not work.

Cons:

Noisy fan in the bathroom-couldn’t find a switch.

Need a note in womens shower regarding the boiling hot water, my granddaughter experienced a very traumatic moment, shes 2 years old her mum checked the water and within a second it was scalding fortunately in a split second the water hit her back and she screamed we managed to wrap cold towels round her and she was calmed. However this left my daughter in tears.All ok now but not at the time. A sign please regarding the hot water would be good in the cubicles
