Nice overnight stay in a lovely old hotel but the patio area needs to be spruced up

Cons:

We booked a lodge with a patio area, unfortunately it was raining, but even if it wasnt the patio area wasnt very inviting, the chairs and table hadn't been cleaned, and the hedge was really high and only half blocked the patio, it needs to be maintained to make a nice area to sit out in the summer

Pros:

It’s a beautiful country house original building, in a lovely setting.

Cons:

The rooms were not clean, had to change rooms twice. The inside decor clashes with the style of the building, gaudy. The breakfast was appalling, dried up, hardly anything left, very poor.

Pros:

Handy location, well priced for B&B. Food extremely good. Parking ..plenty of it so no stress. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Unable to book the spa, no appointments available. Restaurant was noisy, children playing on devices but no option to move.

Very comfortable and enjoyable five days.
Pros:

Room spacious and clean. Plenty of storage. Breakfast excellent. Pool very good.
