No microwave or coffee maker in room
The staff were pleasant and helpful, the location is good.
There’s no air conditioner
Love the location of the Royal Scot, really nice to be so close to downtown and the water. I always stay here when in Victoria.
Love the property.
Location. Clean. Suite room was very nice.
Room on fourth floor was very hot.
Location is excellent. When the first room was unacceptable due to a terrible smell and window opening to courtyard, staff graciously found me another room.
The hotel is tired. There is no AC and the room I had (316) was terribly hot. The portable fan in the bedroom was inadequate and squeaked during rotation. The bedding was subpar, particularly the pillows which were very bad. There was a silverfish in the tub and on the toilet paper roll when I got up in the morning.
I loved the convenience of the location.
We happened to be there when trees were being pruned so that time was a bit noisy.
I found the TV guide and channel access a bit confusing but I figured it out.
Toilet paper was low quality and bathroom was very tight.

Location is great. Room is clean. Indoor pool is great.
Temperature in room was a bit too warm.
We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Scot Hotel & Suites. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to Victoria’s Inner Harbour, downtown attractions, restaurants, and shops. The hotel has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home, and the charming ambiance added to the overall experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria.
The property was only a block from the ferry, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and included a living room, kitchen and balcony for the same price as just a bedroom at other places. As a bonus there’s a hot tub and pool in the basement! Also has a very cute breakfast spot connected to the lobby.
