We came to cycle around Victoria and it suited our needs.
Pros:

It’s a great location. Very walkable to downtown, parliament buildings, waterfront and restaurants. The facilities were very clean.

Cons:

It is an old building and needs a renovation. The price was reasonable.
The restaurant food is forgettable although the waitress was very nice.

Pros:

Great central location. Nice room, although a little noisy.

Cons:

I do wish that a kettle had been provided instead of the simplicity coffee maker, because the water takes forever to get hot and doesn’t really get to boiling point. Not great for tea making.

Good stopover hotel for a wander round Victoria for first time. Close to ferry.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. After a long day the hotel felt welcoming.
Pros:

The location was close to the most iconic parts of Victoria. The hotel property was very well maintained and though its style, layout and furnishings were older, they we in excellent condition.

Cons:

When checking in there was no staff immediately to be seen at the desk. It wasn't obvious that staff could easily see whether a guest was waiting if they had to step behind the separation wall to complete other tasks.

Clean, comfortable accommodation close to inner harbour attractions.
Pros:

Walking distance to inner harbour and main attractions. Great guest laundry with multiple machines/dryers at only $2 per load.

Cons:

Old fashioned grandma decor (but very well cared for). No streaming options. No luggage racks.

Overall good just fixing kettle and milk supply
Pros:

Vicinity to harbour
Fantastic little cafe attached to hotel at back

Cons:

No kettle and proper milk hard to boil up water in coffee percolator and little capsules of real milk like in cafe downstairs would improve for people like us that like a decent cup of teain the morning

Cons:

Personnel d'accueil qui donne de mauvaises informations pour les paiements par carte. Cartes de débit immédiat non acceptées !!!
Pas de petit déjeuner proposé sauf restaurant contiguë, cher et que des plats américains !!!

Pros:

We liked the location - certainly close enough to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to see.

Cons:

This hotel is a tour bus location. Most evenings they have 2 - 3 buses drop off their customers for the night. The suite we had was next to the front door where smokers had to go to smoke - we were woke. Up twice by people smoking and talking loudly. Also woken up early in the morning with people getting back on the buses.

Comfortable stay near attractions and harbour
Pros:

Nice quiet clean room at the end of the hallway on the top floor. Comfortable bed, good wifi, easy parking. Central location. Professional and friendly staff. We appreciated the small refrigerator in the room.

Cons:

Balcony had not been cleared of winter debris - we were probably too early in the season?
