Excellent staff extremely polite
Clean room. Good quality breakfast with healthy option if wanted. Staff helpful. Good value budget hotel.
Would stay again.
Very convenient, easy access to local amenities.
There was not much available for vegan/vegetarians at breakfast.
The bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen at a hotel. If you sat on the toilet you had to make sure the window ( a porthole ! ) was shut, otherwise you would hit the window whilst standing up. The bathroom was that small you had to come out and dry off in the bedroom. There is no air-conditioning in the room, and as it was warm we had to have the window ajar. BUT, the noise from the local estate was really bad until the early hours of the morning. And two or three times during the early hours we were woken up by motorbikes. The car park is fenced off, but you always had a bad feeling that when you went to the car the next day something might of happened to it. Luckily it didn't. Staff were friendly enough. Hotel clean throughout. But one big bugbear for us is that there is never anywhere to hang coats, especially if wet.
Every time as spot on
The only down fall was the bath room was very small but it was very clean
Nice clean and friendly, room very small breakfast was hot and ok, frozen fruit no fresh juice scrambled egg the only option , and natural yogurt not made properly, too runny
Lunch & dinner - poor food offering. Everything frozen. Not much knowledge from staff about allergies. No real atmosphere in the common areas.
Breakfast a bit better but only scrambled eggs offered and everything was cleared away at 10am!
My TV didn’t work for entire visit.
Great location, room was quite small and was a bit tatty in places.
I loved it
Very relaxed atmosphere, and welcomed our dog . So very happy .
This hotel is very clean, breakfast is good and bed is very comfortable. The shower is great but bathroom is very tight. All in all good location and helpful staff.
The room was tiny, which was ok, however, the bathroom was so cramped that it was actually difficult to use! For 2 people it was tolerable for one night, any longer would have been a real struggle.
In addition, bathroom door banged all night, we initially thought that this was because the bathroom window was open, but it was the same with the window closed.
It is an ideal location to gunwharf quays and city centre but the rooms are incredibly small.
The town centre being nearby can also be very noisy due to clubs/music. Loud music went on outside until 1-2am so be wary of that. 🙂
It was close to landmarks and was able to be walkable to the port (40min walk but mainly flat area) the complementary breakfast was filling and the staff was there to ensure freshness and that the tables are clean for the next guest
Convenient to port and shopping areas
The staff were lovely, it was so easy to get to from the train station. The room was small but sufficient for an overnight stay. The breakfast was good value for money. It was clean and fresh and a nice choice of food. My sister’s and myself there was 6 of us all complemented the food and cleanliness.
The tiniest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel.
Expensive car park, £12 per night, not obvious on website.
Convenient hotel to reside at.
We stayed here for the Victorious festival and the location was perfect.
We arrived at 10:30am and there were stil quite a few car parking spaces left.
Staff were very welcoming and hotel was quite.
Great buffet breakfast.
