The location, the friendly and helpful staff, plentiful buffet breakfast and the attached spa with pool.
Decoration can seem a little tired - which could be attributed to the high volume of guests.
Room servicing can be a bit hit & miss. sometimes room looks fantastic, other times bed just pulled straight but tea mug not cleaned or drink tray not fully replenished.
Breakfast plates could be warmer - food often cold by the time one gets back to the table.
Very large room with a view to the sea.
Parking for visitors is expensive.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Room was clean, with a nice big bed. Swimming pool was great and loved by the kids! Handy for the bus into Edinburgh and other places of interest nearby.
The room was a little tired, especially the bathroom.
Breakfast was fantastic, so much choice, even for 2 fussy children. Pool and spa were great. Staff very helpful. Our room was very comfortable, we all had a lovely sleep
Only thing I didn’t like was that children were only allowed in the pool until 7pm even though it’s open till 9pm, as after having days out, the children wanted to have a swim before bed but weren’t able to do so.
Spacious clean rooms. On bus route to Edinburgh centre (stop near train station) but also reasonable price in a taxi. Short taxi ride to beach. Plenty of paid parking

Great value for quality
The room was cold when we arrived, had to figure out the heater mechanism, and there was no hot water BUT the staff did fix that for us promptly once we called
We love the amenities, pool area, lawn tennis, my family really enjoyed our stay.
When the fire alarmed last night, all the people got confused, so we panicked, we didnt know wat to do, no staff telling us to calm down and go to the nearest assembly point, the alarm rung for 15min i think,
