Beautiful and quiet.
The room was newly renovated. The beds were very comfortable!
I understand the hotel is under construction but going away for a mom's weekend only to be woken up at 7:40 am on Saturday morning was extremely frustrating. If construction is going to occur that early it needs to be explicitly stated in the description.
The room was great as was the shared pool facilities
It was difficult to find the lobby, the signage was poor after dark.
Na
We were aware that this hotel was under renovation when I booked. I could not care less about a sauna, Jacuzzi or a swimming pool, we just wanted somewhere relaxing and calm to have a long weekend away.
When I booked the reservation, the hotel clearly stated what amenities were closed, which I was fine with.
Our hotel room faced into the atrium, where you could see all of the construction work.
I quickly walked down and asked if there would be any construction happening over the weekend. The receptionists said no, there would be no construction work over the weekend, as the hotel only allows construction Monday to Friday.
Saturday morning we got rudely awakened by construction workers working in adjacent rooms. This also happened on Sunday. Subsequently, no weekend sleep-ins happened for me.
Monday morning, just after 7-ish, we were rudely woken up by scaffolding being erected in front of our window. No where in the booking information did the hotel mention construction noise or hours of active construction work.
As stated in the advertised booking, a Newly renovated wing! Its only half the truth, as the entire atrium has been striped bare for renovations. There are construction entry doors in the hallways and open electrical panels . There are unfinished parts of the hallway that you have to walk through. The north side of the building, where we were asked to park, had two entrances. These were not secure, meaning anyone could walk into the hotel at any time.
The room itself still had the new-carpet smell, that very chemical smell that left me with a continuous headache. When I went down to reception to ask about this, they told me upgrades are $35 a night.
The heating and air conditioning unit is so loud, it's hitting about 55 to 60 dB. It's so loud. It was the loudest heating air conditioning unit I have ever heard in my life.
Clean and modern, fast check in and out
The room, reception and the pool
Das Hotel hat wunderschöne Zimmer und einen Balkon zum Innenhof. Es war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Wir durften eher einchecken.
Der Preis (405€ pro Nacht ohne Frühstück ist überteuert)
Swimming pool is very clean
The balcony is not clean to seat outside
Breakfast was tasty but service was rude.
Some of the carpet needs updating. Bed was hard. Towels were cheap. Overpriced.
The rooms were wonderful, new, spacious and clean. We had a small kitchenette that was stocked with all the appliances you would need to make a small meal/dinner. Loved being able to open the doors to the small patio area. My sister had work calls while we were there - the internet worked well she was very comfortable working from the room. We also used the laundry room, so convenient during a 10 day trip!
nothing to note!
